Hi, more troubles here. My sis has been taken in last night cause of more symptoms. Her urgent appointment was next friday but she had side pain lower abdomen last night so we took her the emergency docs and she was admitted from there. She had a chest xray and abdominal xray and both clear but they are going to give her a CT scan today and she has been put on a drip too. They just want to be sure that she is OK before letting her come home. Its just a precaution we think so need to keep busy physically today. Be back on later.

    Hi marshallka.

So sorry to hear your sad news. :cry:Just wanted to let you know your in my thoughts and prayers.

    Hi Gerry Hope your well.;)
    Not too bad thank you.:A

Apparently we have to wait until next week now as Dad's Social worker could not make it this week, so hope it will be good news next week, fingers crossed.

Dad had a terrible headache today, but he is okay, mind you its very hot in there.

I rang tonight to ask if he was settled, and was told he was fast asleep in the chair, but doing okay.

I told them on the phone that he used to love playing with playing cards, also the keyboard, they did say they have been trying him with different activities, and been doing good, and will get hold of some cards for him, I told them I will bring them in over the weekend, have a few packs here for them all up there.;)

Hope things are going okay for you hunni.:A

    Hi Pal,

I’m fine thanks Di. Had a busy week with appointments at three different hospitals, I’m sure I put in more hours than some of the NHS staff :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I’m not complaining though as least I’m getting well taken care of.

The only thing that gets me down is people moaning about being kept waiting and criticizing the NHS. Maybe I’m biased though, as I have an excellent medical team caring for me and I know not everyone has been as fortunate as I’ve heard some nightmare stories.:eek:

Great idea about the keyboard and cards to keep your dads mind active with something he enjoys. I’ll keep everything crossed for you with regards to Christmas. :lovethoug

Are you sure your ok? Is it just my imagination or are you feeling a bit down tonight sweetie? :(

    Love Gerry x x ;)

Bless you, you've had a hard time of it haven't you.
    Sending you ((((hugs)))).:A

Yes the NHS are very hardworking, I used to once work for the NHS in a hospital and its a demanding but rewarding job, I loved it though, and loved being kept on my toes.

I think dad needs stimulation, seeing most of them just sat there doing nothing or asleep is very sad, this will do dad good if they can get them into these activities again.:T

I am actually exhausted, been back and forth up and down the stairs getting my son to bed, he is up and down, but always had sleeping problems, I just keep going and going until he settles.
His anxiety is a problem due to his needs, will get there in the end lol.......:D.

Bless you for being concerned hun and do hope everything is okay for you.

Got to keep smiling and get into the Christmas Spirit. I’m trying to be a good girl and on my best behaviour for Santa coming. :j :j

I know it’s the season of goodwill, however I hoping that Santa may stubble upon a few fatalities during the festive period hopefully he’ll give me a shout if they’re carrying an organ donor card. (people are known to overindulge on the liquid  Christmas spirit) _party__party__party_ Sorry that’s my sick sense of humour making an appearance again. :naughty::naughty::naughty:

I’ve got a backup plan ready, just in case Santa cant find the new lung.:santa2:

I've asked for a Sat Nav for my prince charming. I know he’s out there somewhere he’s just taken a wrong turn, got lost, and is too stubborn to ask for directions.:confused::confused:

Hope your dad is OK Di. I have just read about you running around. You need to make your hubby take over for a while by the sounds of it.

Hope everyone else is OK at moment. Not had time to come post hardly cause trying to busy myself otherwise and get things sorted for another load of "things" coming into the house. Its finding "homes" for everything you buy isn't it. In with the new and out with the old.

My sis is still not out. She thinks its cause her BP is still very high but they have let her eat which is a good thing. She is wanting to come out so bad now and everyone else has left on the ward... just hope its cause the docs are busy doing rounds. She does not want to stop in for the colonoscopy and get it done now as she wants to get prepared at home and go back in a few days. At least things have not got worse so all in all she is doing well.

My daughters knee has also swollen up again and she says it is itchy also (given her some tabs ). Back to hospital for her tuesday as I have tried to say that they will not be able to do anything at hospital now ......its all illness and hospital at the mo.... does not even feel like Christmas.

Hubby and son still gone the match though. MEN!!!!

    (just kidding!!);)
