This is so sad for you hunni.
So sorry.XXX
Yes it is very shattering indeed, and like you I always remember dad being so independent as well, he was always there love him and would never take no for an answer, I still remember dad helping me with my very first job application form.....and his words "no telling porkies now" lol, and I got the job.
He even used to help the grandparents with their financial matters such as form completion, you name it he done it.
Mum is finding it very difficult indeed, not really coping to be honest, so we do try to see her as much as possible, but luckily with a big family we are all there for her.
If you don't mind me asking hun, how old was your mum when she passed away?
You don't have to answer that if you don't want to.;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi, more troubles here. My sis has been taken in last night cause of more symptoms. Her urgent appointment was next friday but she had side pain lower abdomen last night so we took her the emergency docs and she was admitted from there. She had a chest xray and abdominal xray and both clear but they are going to give her a CT scan today and she has been put on a drip too. They just want to be sure that she is OK before letting her come home. Its just a precaution we think so need to keep busy physically today. Be back on later.0

Thanks, I don't know what to do with myself so going to answer (if I can?) some PPI questions now. Its just a precaution though. She had her xrays done after we left last night and they were clear. Her BP was through the roof and at the docs she had a temperature and then at hospital they said OK but still VERyhigh BP. She was crying last night and came around to see if I could feel anything in her side as she said it was swollen. I am no doctor but we took her up and they said it was a fullness. BUT her xrays were fine they said. If it was anything they would have showed up in that but they are doing this other scan cause its a precaution. All that is left then is a colonoscopy but we both had them last year and mine was fine and my sis had a polyp removed which was benign. I think she will be fine and its a B12 definciency and she needs some urgent meds.0
