Yes they say it as they see it! Dementia is so cruel it strips the person away that you have known. We experienced this with father in law, he unfortunately was is purgortary seeing things imagining things aggressive not in a happy place at all. Very sad.
I have to say their were funny moments too, we were at a very high brow event and FIL shouted out funny little shoes at the host of the bash, fortunately she laughed and agreed.
How are they getting on with Dads meds?

So sorry you have had to go through this as well hun.
And remembering the times when they were so independent, its so hard to believe how they change through this horrible cruel dementia.

My dad goes through moments of accusing the staff to be murderers........, then next minute he loves them to bits.

With dad he has always had a GSOH anyway, and at times it can be hard to make out if he is joking or not.

Meds seems to be working so far, so I think they are giving it more time to see how it goes, fingers crossed, thanks for asking hunni.:AXXX

Yes he loves Tea........me too and have tried all sorts, don't think he tried the Green Tea though, but defo worth giving it a try.
Yes I know what you mean in feeling things are hard to control.

See when dad was home, he would awake approx 2 am and tell mum to get his sarnies ready for work, bless him he was thinking he was still working down the mines, and mum had a job to keep him indoors, its a worry especially at that time of the morning, so he used to go off anyway and within 10 mins he would come back saying "busy day at work again today" thinking he was there all day.

    Thanks for the tip hun.

I hope so too Di. My sis is in next friday to see a stomach person as she has had "symptoms" and losing more weight. I hope she is OK. They have got her in urgent too. :confused:She thought it was going to be a straight to test colonoscopy but now they want to check her stomach first as that test was done 18 months ago. I think it may be that they will do the camera down, don't know really but our doc wanted her to have an urgent colonoscopy for her symptoms. They have at least got her seen to within the specified two weeks though so have to wait and see. Its a long time though to be waiting even two weeks.

I hope showergirl has had good news this week. Anyone heard from her???

    Fingers crossed. XXXX

No not heard from Showergirl yet, hope all is okay, I have been looking out for her.

My oldest sister of us all had a womb biopsy last week, (she kept this all to herself, I found out last night), and is awaiting results.

This is yet another one of my sisters.
