Glad your dad seems to be bearing up better Di.
My daughter has had her first visit to physio. They have said it is one of two things. Firstly it could be that the muscles behind the knee need strengthening as her knee cap is not sliding along the groove thing that it should do correctly so it is making a clicking and then sometimes giving way but hopefully with the strengthening it should be OK soon. IF not that then they say it could be that the cartlidge itself is going soft for some reason which would then explain the numbness but they are hoping this is not the case. She has to do some slight (and only slight) exercises for now and then go back next week then the week after she is at the other hospital anyway for more tests. She is fine and has told the nurse today that its not pain she feels, there is no actual pain, its just that it goes numb at random (not at any particular time - she can be sitting, standing, walking etc) and then clicks backwards and she hates the feeling. She should be OK though and they did not put her through too much...;). Its strange this is cause two years ago she was doing her gymnastics in the living room and did a flip over and bashed her knee cap in the table so hard that it bruised all over. We put ice on and she wore a bandage for a while but I wondered if she had perhaps chipped it then. They said that maybe it would have given her pain etc before now if that was the case.0 -
My hubby has just checked emails and there is one from Lloyds of London saying the payment had gone into the bank and also
"as regards the bottle of bubbly, I am hoping the fella in the big red coat brings that one...."
:rotfl::rotfl:
Seems like I have to get my own then....:rolleyes:
Was worth a try though....0 -

Thank you Marshallka.:AXX
Bless your daughter, going through all this at such a young age.
Give her a cuddle from me and tell her she is a very brave girl.
Good luck with the Physio, hope this will help her. XX;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
