Poor dad yesterday bless him......
Mum and 2 of my sisters and brother in law went to see him as well yesterday and dad led them to the family visiting day room, there was a poor little lady fast asleep on one of the sofa's.
Dad suddenly yelled "She's DEAD" and was pointing at the little lady......:o, she suddenly woke, dad jumped a mile and she looked bewildered, bless her.......
That's the thing with dementia, they say what they think don't they?
Dad is doing okay though, so that is good news.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Yes they say it as they see it! Dementia is so cruel it strips the person away that you have known. We experienced this with father in law, he unfortunately was is purgortary seeing things imagining things aggressive not in a happy place at all. Very sad.
I have to say their were funny moments too, we were at a very high brow event and FIL shouted out funny little shoes at the host of the bash, fortunately she laughed and agreed.
How are they getting on with Dads meds?0 -

Well done to your daughter she is very good, have you noticed any difference in her? You must have got such a fright when you first saw her rash. How are you? Are you a mathematician? You are a whizz with the calculations, very impressed. x
. Not too sure TBH cause our docs said they wanted to wait for two months after taking iron (although they have only given her one month supply) so perhaps going to give her this bottle, wait a month and then do bloods and take it from there.
. Its just to see if it is actually iron anemia causing the low hemoglobin.
