I think I eat well but because of bleeding (sorry everyone) cant keep up with iron intake naturally...were always going through a phase...I'm not liking this one...What is petechia?
Its just bleeding from small veins just under the skin. Its the same rash as menengitis starts with but much smaller but nevertheless, the same type of thing. ;)

    Hiya Showergirl.

Hope your okay hunni, silly thing of me to say I know.

Not sure if this will be any consolation to you hun, when one of my sister's had the same test as you, they contacted her within 48 hours, and the same for one of my mates, however they are both fine now babe.;)
Thinking of you sweetheart, ((((HUGS) coming your way.:A

    Lots of love

Sometimes though Di, when they do a biopsy it cannot be hurried any sooner as they need to see if anything grows from it from what i was told. Some of these things need time for a definate result. It is still too long though but some of these cannot be an overnight turnaround or a few days. They can take a couple of weeks or more and most come back OK.

    My house looks so different........:j:j

It have helped by using the Wicker colour paint we had with the paint pod which have lasted out very well indeed, we bought the paint pod almost 2 years ago, or when they first came out, they are amazing and saves lots of time.

And with the new flooring and new carpets which have been in the attic for 2 years, its now all down and looks wonderful...........all nice and fresh again and everything neutral.....:T:T.
And not a penny spent at all, as my ex brother in law who is a carpet fitter by trade fitted the carpets and flooring for us today, we are treating him for Chistmas dinner, and he will be staying, and going to help him out on a few reclaims, he did not want a penny, we fed and watered him as well lol.........:D.

Hope all are well, now I must get and put everything away, catch you later.:j:j:beer:

  • Hi Di - I'm ok thanks ... had a bit of a scare in the week... I had to go up to the hospital because I had the mother of all headaches... I thought it was just a side effect of a bad lumbar puncture last week - but it turned out to be a small bleed..... ANYWAY ... I'm much much better now... I had my first (ever) blood transfusion and it really humbled me! It really struck me how truely fantastic and selfless some people are to donate their blood to total strangers. Unfortunately, because of the NHL - I'l never be able to 'give back' the blood I needed - but I'm so grateful for it (and of course the wonderful medical team at the C&W)

Hi Paul, Sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope you don't mind me asking but how long ago were you got diagnosed with non hodgkins?

By the way I used to give blood. I gave it until I was 30 from the age of 17 (except during times of too thin and having babies) but had to give up when I started on hypertension tabs. I would love to give again to help people like yourself but sadly can not. I hope you are now feeling a bit better. ;)
