Di,
Hope your Dad will be fine and enjoy some other attention. Your poor Mum must be at her wits end and the break will do her good as well. You all need to make the most of this time when the responsibility is on someone elses shoulders (for the main part).
I should be ironing, I really should be ironing but I don't feel in the mood to iron. I'm in one of those moods when you can't be bothered to get out of your own way, let alone do anything else. Am I the only one who ever feels like that? I can't even blame it on the time of the month because I haven't had a 'month' for years.
Cya later. Take care.

Hi Karen
Hope your well and thank you.:A;)
I think dad will be okay, there are plenty of activities with a day centre as well, he needs this to keep his mind stimulated.
Of course mum is getting over Shingles as well, which had dragged her down, so she had been housebound over the last 2 and a half weeks.
lmao I have things to do here, just been plodding along but have not got it in me really, this weather is lousy today isn't it?
Boring old rain!! And dark as well, which does not help.
Hey won't be long for your holiday Karen......:j:j, its a different world in Newquay isn't it?
I adore that place and can't wait to go back again some day.
You enjoy yourself hun.

Hello Di, glad your dad is excited about going away for a couple of weeks and all the activities should keep him stimulated and happy.
Your poor mum having shingles as well she must be exhausted and will be able to recharge her batteries.
Hope you are taking care of yourself Di and that you havent to long to wait for the FSCS to sort out your claim.DS1 12/10/04

I expect I will see dad in a few days, when they say the best time.
I can see why they say don't visit for a few days, it may confuse him all over again, but yes a much needed break for dad and the same for mum, to get over the shingles.
She did have it very bad as well, stress along with it, maybe it was all the stress and a build up that led to her having this, they say that don't they, when your run down your immune system goes down with it?
I'm not doing too bad thanks hun and I wish you all the best on your FSCS claim as well, hun, it will be good news for you i'm sure.:AXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hello to everyone, hope your all well.:A
I am really achey today, had my flu jab yesterday and other stuff done at the GP's, I've lost weight, down to just over 8 and a half stone......, good in a way though because I can fit into my clothes I could not fit in before....:o, although they put the weight loss down to stressful stuff, such as with dad etc.
I was not far off 10 stone 2 months ago.
Have to go back again in a fortnight, BP was 186/101....., not sure if the meds I am currently prescribed are working, but we will get there:D.
Anyway, hope your all having a good day, with whatever you are doing.;)XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
