Hi everyone.
Hope your all well.;)
Looks like dad will be going into respite, something to be sorted out today, despite having 3 carer's mum still cannot cope, a lot of it is to do with sleep, where he is not getting enough, he is getting all agitated, mum does not want anyone in the house at nights, and refused this offer, so maybe respite will be the best action. He went out wandering at 4 am this morning, mum said she could not stop him....
This will be brought forward, originally this was arranged for next month, I know its not easy, as we are getting calls 24/7 from her.
Mind you he was at a confused state when we seen him yesterday afternoon, and we think mum is finding it difficult to accept he has this illness, and finding it hard to deal with it.
Hopefully, it will work out for the best in the end.Xxx0 -

Hi hun sorry about your dad babe it must be very hard for you but it is maybe for the best if your mum is getting upset and finding hard to cope Thinking of you hun:A:Axxxxx
Thanks Di.;)
Its all been sorted out, dad goes tomorrow at 11am, my 2 sisters, mum and brother in law are going along for an hour or so until he settles, and he is not allowed visitors for the first few days, as they have to monitor him, something called "mind monitoring".
For 2 weeks he will be away for, and yes Di, I agree, its for the best, the carers say as mum is classed as dad's aggressor, a break is much needed.
I'm sure it will all work out.;)
Thanks hunni and hope your well.:A
How is your dad by the way hun?
Hope he's feeling better now, bless him, he have been through the wars haven't he?XxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Good morning to everyone.
Dad was happy this morning, and excited about going to a nice place for a fortnight, this is to do with Respite.
He had a good nights sleep last night as well, which helped, because unfortunately the last week or so he have been restless, and with not knowing the time anymore, and always went off wandering - going into early hours.
The hospital/respite centre have said no visitors for the first few days, then it can be arranged discretely by ringing after that.
I think he will be okay.
Anyway, hope your all okay.:AXxx
How are you Marshallka? hope your okay, not seen you here.Xxx

Di,
Hope your Dad will be fine and enjoy some other attention. Your poor Mum must be at her wits end and the break will do her good as well. You all need to make the most of this time when the responsibility is on someone elses shoulders (for the main part).
I should be ironing, I really should be ironing but I don't feel in the mood to iron. I'm in one of those moods when you can't be bothered to get out of your own way, let alone do anything else. Am I the only one who ever feels like that? I can't even blame it on the time of the month because I haven't had a 'month' for years.
Cya later. Take care.
