Its a long time isn't it over a year, with that credit card of hubby's the one I posted about last week is over a year as well, hopefully we shall all hear something soon, fingers crossed.

Would be good if it was all sorted out before Christmas Marshallka wouldn't it, with everything piling up, it all adds up doesn't it?

OMG Marshallka my oven have gone on mine as well in fact over 2 weeks ago, luckily we use the microwave if we have to and the hob is fine, do you find though that things happen when we can't afford to put it right?

This is not for the Ombudsmans decision though. Its not been to an adjudicator yet. :eek: I am still waiting in line for it just to be looked at for the first time let alone the second decision.:eek: Only another couple to 3 months though now. Its been a long hard route but hopefully worth it in the end. If its not then so be it.


I thought you said your hubbys was waiting for the Ombudsman decision as Lloyds were not replying. Have they still not replied to the FOS. Didn't you say he had won anyway on it and Lloyds were not responding to the decision? Its a pity the Ombudsman does not have more clout isn't it.

Oh well, things to do and people to ring as they say. I am on a mission at the moment. :rolleyes:

Yes hubbys is with the ombudsman, what I mean is that so far it is still with them, he won on the other credit card ppi but Lloyds did not respond to the adjudicator decision on this one.
He actually did send these 2 in together, but the FOS split them.;)

Dialysis I am not going through too much. Just the usual that if I asked 20 people in the street they could say they were too. I just needed to sound off. Thanks for that one.:A I am not as bad off as some. We just don't want to get into anymore debts needless so I have banned all electric things from standby and the gas has not gone on yet. :eek:
When I was repossessed and moved to my council house I had a meter for the first time ever and one morning when I got up my then little boy was standing with a brush end and trying to press the "mergency" on it. It was so sweet really. He just said he could not get his light to work. Just dont want to go back there though.

Yeah, thats what I mean, this complaint is just still waiting and waiting. It can get you down sometimes I suppose.

Yes your right Marshallka, when you need this money now, with all these things going on as well......, blimey they should award you distress payment on top of that as well me thinks......;)

Yes youre right Di we should get distress payments on top of the compo. What I dont understand is if the calim stays with the FOS you can claim for distress but you cant with the FSCS. That is so annoying when it wasnt our faults these firms have gone bust in the first place. I find it very suspicious that these companies go bust and then set up agian in the same office under a different name. Surley the financial people can see this too.:mad:

I agree Di, afterall its a very long wait with the FSCS as well, when you take it from putting in a claim, wait for the business to go into default, that is over a year alone, my form went in last July and have not gone into default as yet, it's not a great lot of money but it will help.
Although my ref number is that of number 1, I know of many others who have put in claims for Twopart as well, but not as high as Picture.

I never had distress on mine from my bank cause they offered a goodwill payment. They did however stall in sending the file over to FOS but at the same time as they did they made the offer. Thing is that it was FOS's fault that it took longer too cause the adjudicator went off sick and never came back so the offer was sat on his desk for a month and it was only cause I called them constantly that this was discovered. I am not too worried about distress on this just as long it gets somewhere.

You do deserve this extra payment though Marshallka, you have been to hell and back with it, so even though I know you would be happy that they resolve it, hopefully it will be something the FOS will request you have anyway.;)
