hello UK_Steve
If you put all that re mortgage money into the market I hope you will do the monthly updates.
I will certainly be on this board with any news I have of my action or inaction.
Sabretoothtigger - having only 15% in "the market" I would really love to drip feed more in, but I will be sitting on my hands (lying on a beach) until Mid September
i will do 100%;)Oh well we only live once ;-)0 -
Doesnt sound like your over extended and you know alot more then me about putting money into practical investments
Have you read up on some book about trading or investing, could do worse then the guy who does these market pictures I post (like below) since he is a big guy on risk control in everything0 -

I reckon Im on a better deal with a small interest in a water consultancy, a small gold mine is about as absolute as it gets and since gold is a capital intensive product to extract they are quite subject to finance risk I would think
Is there a story that popularised them, they are up another 5% today
Didnt realise they are on aim, is buying shares just the same ?
Discussion of stock tips, some of these companies have been mentioned on this thread also. Article is dated 7th July, broker reckons market will continue fall till Sept

Not as far as I'm aware.
It seems the copper is more important than gold in the short term. PRT permits mooted for "end of summer"sabretoothtigger wrote: »Didnt realise they are on aim, is buying shares just the same ?

EMED announces placing,shares largely unchanged,encouraging
REX hasnt fallen far enough for me
Thanks sabre for putting up charts(PTEC)wouldnt know where to start
Hoping for a quick 20% suspect £4+ shortly
This REX - http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/q?s=REX.L
Nice yield but yes they have only fallen back to june values, so no big deal or a case for distress stock if thats your angle
Consumer related, western based, not especially attractive but the price of steel has fallen I guess
Theres some support 260, 270 and if they break that then 220
Emed was up 5% and now its switched just like that to 4% down. 9 is its magic number longer term and if it can make a clear break then there is a potential for it to make 18 or 20 going on previous volume and price action.
Cheap speculation could be had just laying a buy order at 10 with a tight stop loss maybe :think:It seems the copper is more important than gold in the short term. PRT permits mooted for "end of summer"0 -

Well this is why they are a gamble.... they don't mine any copper or gold at the moment!0
