Sold Carrs Milling on the back of a 45% gain in the past 10 months.

Partly reinvested into GLI Finance (GLIF). Around 8.5% yield.

With every disposal beginning to build cash balances. As finding value income stocks with potential for capital growth is getting tougher.

Quite a chart glif has. Seems a high risk, high skill business area and a bit hard for me to judge, effectively a bond fund right.

FXPO down bad on ukraine worries. I always wonder why they dont get on with an election in these situations, bring the UN in to monitor. Quite possibly the UN are useless to help, Egypt elections sometime this year also.

Great gains on Hoil recently, its been down so long. I hope it gets 310 and break ceilings. I sold DIA today, almost 20% since Monday buy which I will rate as a pretty good deal but sold to buy lower hopefully

Here is fxpo base, east being russikis play area a bit like Georgia?:

Very strong rise in Essr, I guess it can recover 100. Though this price is not a full value I reckon, the people proposing to buy back the 22% floated will be getting a bargain if they do so

Seems if the family is considering a 70p offer to wipe out the minority shareholders. That's only 60p in the £ against book value. Doesn't do the LSE any favours having stocks such as listed.

I hold core shares long term. Then invest in the periphery looking for shares that lie under the radar of the large investment fund groups. Like yourself I suspect. If you spend enough time reading, digging around and tracking. Something pops up on the radar.

Splitting the Country into West and East may be the only solution. Culturally a divided nation.

Iron ore prices globally seem to be reacting to China's lower demand.

Seems they would be better off as one nation but not if at war
    GLI did very well

ESSR has some hope of a rule change to allow minority investors a vote on their sale and they must decide a consensus, not be forced

Centricia I think looks very bullish ? not sure why but I bought some for a trade, Ive sold some FTSE tracker and Ive held off selling BP for the moment despite its continual long term disappointment to rise

Best stock recently was Petra diamonds which I sold. Highest/strongest stock I want to buy is WS Atkins, if it can fall back a bit then it's a buy long term. They keep improving the dividend

I sold a few weeks ago to finish off my wife's CGT allowance. We'd had 100% gains without even including dividends, and have a lot of other exposure to services and construction, so I was happy to exit.

I have 100% gain but it looks solid and I dont own much. I think it looks like a buy, the recent pullback is low volume, maybe buy 1200

I was looking at BT and Deutsche Telekom
Both good rises but some profit taking in order I think or has BT found a good revenue stream

I'm good but not enjoying the markets being as high as they are.

BTW I just went back and read a few messages from each year. Interesting stuff!
