    I brought some in Alied Irish Bank. Huge growth potential over next 12 to 15 months. I'm now looking for short term success. Anything guys?

    Hi madkid88,
    'short term' be very cautious,shares have shot up and may go back down leaving you stranded.There is small gains to be made 'day trading' but Im tempted to wait in the wings.Avoid those that have done very well of late

    thanks tonygee, so what do you suggest. Can you not make a quick gain by a days trading.

    Im not a daytrader,thats not to say I wont sell if Im lucky and something I buy goes up quickly.Rather wait and hope opportunities arise.

    Day trading is for crazy people or just guys who are right enough times to spot a stock thats about to move, most people just lose money

    gemd is rollercoster im about to re buy if it hits 155 or lower;)


    my life IPF has droped even more today (dam)


    looks like that be 1 we both be sitting on for a while

    IPF seems grossly oversold,likely 'bigboys' playing games,more fool panic sellers.Big falls today ON MARKETS interesting to see how far it goes,my original thoughts/post was a 2 month rise followed by a 2 month fall.Didnt Buy today but hopefully opportunities soon

    IPF.L ? Not S&P international finance sector then :laugh:


    I dont know anything about them but the charts dont seem to give any optimism. A failed breakout and a new low, points to a continuing downtrend especially given the wider context of markets falling back
    Will be interesting to see how they are in 24hr but I'd not have the faith or guts to hold

    my word that cksn share has shot up today 23p to £2.20
    Oh well we only live once ;-)
