Aw Gemmzie - some days are like that. Stay awhile to be cheered up.

Only a certain person could cheer me up today unfortunately and that annoys me even further.

Yep some friends of my parents live in poole - before it was Lush we used to go there all the time!

And no worries peeps - I do faint sometimes as I have naturally low blood pressure and have a very fast metabolism - it was funny re: doughnut dont you worry

I ate brekkie and lunch so it must just be one of those things today :D

as long as you're okay now... and if you're used to it.... then that's not so bad...

When it was Cosmetics to Go? I used to live opposite them at that time - in a flat above one of the shops :D I think Lush stuff smells amazing but they have got a bit big for their boots and are over-pricing themselves based on their name.

  • I keep doing that, none of my payments have gone through and it is really getting on my nerves!

I want to know what I have paid!!!!!

I know how you feel. I'm waiting for the money back from my matched betting (will land when it feels like it) and my wages for 3 days temp cleaning I got last week (had better be in the bank tomorrow like they promised or there will be trouble). Currently, my bank balance is £3.31 since my cheeky sod of a housemate nagged me for a week for the electric cheque then waited two weeks to cash it! By which point, I'd naturally forgot all about it. Hence the compulsive checking, I'm up to 4 times now. :D

yep - they got too big, too quick and Cosmetics to Go went under. Something to do (I think) with them starting a mail order side and they couldn't cope. I think the original people then re-started Lush on the same site with the same 1 shop and grew from there.

They used to have a kind of delicatessen counter with pots of face masks in it. I never used to buy them as I never know what to buy but it always looked great. I used to treat myself to a tiny slab of the honeycomb soap.

We always used to travel from Poole for our summer holidays in France - its a great little town but I had no idea how close it was to some of the other places nearby!!!

I also used to spend my Easter holidays at a campsite near durdle dor (sp?) - wow that was great :D

Durdle Door is beautiful. Poole itself is lovely, and being so close to the New Forest one way and then all the coastline to the west is amazing.
