Simple question, can you get all the Freesat channels with this system? A few years ago when we looked some Freesat channels needed a Freesat card. Plus we get the listings on our old Sky box with a Freesat card, we didn't need a "Freesat branded" box.0

Yes you do.
The channels you get on with Freesat are on the Astra satellite at 28.2 degrees. You get all the free channels on that satellite in adition to all the free channels on about 20-25 other satellites. You effectively get all the free channels from across Europe and you don't need any cards or subscriptions. I have posted another thread with brief intructions.

I had a motorised dish last year for £300 and get most live football around the world for free which is what i mainly had it for.0

The only way to see the majority of Premier League football is shown via Showtime Sports, which costs around a grand a year but does have English commentary. There are other options but there really is no way that you can get the 3pm kick offs without paying a fortune as Sky/Setanta clearly want to protect their investment.0

Incorrect.
There are numerous European channels that show both English and Scottish Premiere League and Cup games Free To Air and without subscriptions or cards being required.
Just for an example go to this web site and click on the toolbar that is marked UK/Ireland and see for yourself

Freesat has only been around a year so so.
You can get all the freesat channels on any suitable, however only "Freesat" branded recievers will get the 7 day EPG, the rest you'll get now and next.
Please bear in mind "Freesat" and "Freesat from Sky" ARE NOT the same thing. Freesat does not need any card at all.0
