Always think it's worth recording an accident though Bully, you never know! Glad you're OK :)
Hi MM...I did not leave my details...and I'm fine, only a slight red mark on my shoulder ,which is a little stiff and probably a bruise later, what's that going to stop me doing?...( cleaning windows maybe !!Woo Hoo, every cloud etc...)!! I'm of a generation who know that accidents happen and most of the time they are no-ones fault, no-one is to blame for this ...maybe they hadn't been placed far enough on the shelf, maybe a customer had rummaged and displaced their containers...or maybe they were just kamekazi noepads....

Mad was at T's today and saw a pal. He has got a dog from the Animal Rescue. It had been run over and lost a leg. The poor mutts bad luck doesn't end there though as my pal has given him the unfortunate name of Tripod.
Now if that doesn't make everyone laugh out loud then nothing will!! How good a name is that? Fantastic....
  • Bullshot glad you are ok and not too badly hurt after your accident yesterday. Shame it took such drastic action to get a clarification on your stores voucher policy lol!!!! xxxx

I went to tesco yesterday with my daughter and she insisted on sitting in one of those car trolleys which are extremely long and you can't see the front. I was pushing it along and I hadn't even got in the shop when I bumped the front into a metal post (just outside the entrance where all the trolleys are kept) but the trolley jumped back into my stomach and I let out a big errggghhh, everone looked at me by which point I was trying to act cool but had winded myself, thought I had better see how my daughter was but when I went to speak to her I couldn't (she was fine by the way), felt great pain but casually walked into tesco (really wanting to cry). The pain went off after a minute or so but it didn't half hurt, then after that I went into the back of 2 people and felt quite embarrassed. Won't be having one of those again. Kids hey!!!!! :o

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help m today with Tesco Direct code especially Judy2357. After trawling round the internet, finally found a combi m/w for £100 from argos. Went there first on sat, but didn't have a decent size I wanted cheap, but managed to find one I want that isn't in catalogue but is in store, so back to cooking tomorrow.
Now to even better news::j was going a couple of miles away from a T extra that I haven't been to for over a year cos there coupon policy was no coupons at all so avoided, but decided to ring up to ask their policy, as advised by VC on previous thread. I said "can you tell me what your coupon policy is please, is it the same as the national policy where I can use as many as I want against my shop without buying the goods as long as they are not duplicated" Yes she said, as long as it is not a case of you give more than you spend, we don't give money back on them, but it might flag up if somebody came in day after day with lots of coupons and didn't spend anything." "so for instance if I spent £20 and gave £15 worth of coupons that would be ok. Yes she said. :j I then asked her name but she wouldn't give it saying I prefer not to cos I don't know who you are and dont like giving my name out. Didn't matter too much cos was so excited, at last a coupon friendly big store not too far away. Will make sure I save all my big ones and do a big shop there every couple of weeks. So giddy, only problem was it shut at 6 so can't go today.:rotfl:

ps Thanks to coupon mad (I think it was you sorry if quoting and wasn't) who advised on previous thread not to ask what their policy was but to say is it same as national policy etc.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Had a bad/good experience yesterday....first the bad...the A4 paper is on the bottom shelf and as I bent down to get a pack, 3 boxes full of notebads, with hard back and ring binders fell on my head and shoulder from a height of about 6 feet!!! 2 children standing nearby thought it amusing ...I thought it embarasssing and a little bit painful.SA came and asked if I needed the first aider to see if I was OK, .........I was fine, just my shoulder was a little sore, but no problems, and could she please pass me the heavy paper and put it in my trolley.Carried on shopping ignoring pleas to have my name put in the accident book...I was fine I assured them. Now for the 'good'...got to checkouts and miserable old man who looked bored and mean....as I came to hand over my coupons Sa came over to check if I was still OK...she told him I'd been 'attacked' by some rampant notepads...he perked up and was extremely nice and took all my coupons and even scanned troublesome ones in with hand held scanner ...he told me to make sure I gave my details in should I have any recurring problems...thought I'd mention it to customer Services who suggested I complained about the height they stack their shelves...duty manager then came over and we had a lovely chat , I assured him I was fine, but took the opportunity to ask about coupon policy. No probs he said if you don't expect to pay for all shopping with coupons...expect to spend some money and they'll oblige by taking the mocs...he though 50% would be OK, and he thought most of the SA's would oblige if I mentioned his name....worth being a wounded soldier for was that !!!

Sorry you were mugged by a gang of notebooks. I sure hope you are okay. Sometimes it is quiet a battle to get coupons accepted, you deserve the couponers' equivalent of the Purple Heart for being wounded in the line of duty! Carry on, soldier.:p
