    Hi everybody
has the whiskas offer ended, can't see the coupon now

    thanks
No it works fine, I've just printed off another two to check it for you (different computer)......... if you are using Mozilla Firefox, there is a box in the top right hand corner.

There are so many issues that seem to be sorted out by ditching Internet Explorer..........
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

Go back to T's Jules and ask at CS for a raincheck voucher - Guarantees you the product at the reduced price! ;) (Not sure if this only applies on the last day of the offer though )
You can get a raincheck at any time that the offer is on as long as the product has run ou in store.

Just had a really embarrassing experience at my local Tesco’s. Have been going in for the past few years and using coupons towards my shopping. I always ask the Checkout Operator if I can use any of the coupons I have and never use too many at once. Asked the Checkout Operator today if I could use any of my coupons (not internet) but was told I could only use one as I had not bought the product. I asked was she sure as I thought it was one of each type of coupon, but she was adamant it was just one coupon in total. I asked was it a recent change, as I had regularly used more than one type of coupon, the last time being last week. She said it was in their Team 5 Bulletin and it had changed “months ago”. I asked if I could see a copy of it but she said I would have to go to Customer Services.

I apologised for holding up the queue, but asked if she could check it with someone else as I had used coupons there most weeks without a problem. She called the Checkout Supervisor over and said “This womans trying to use all these coupons (4!) but I've already told her we only take one .” . She was quite loud and people were looking. I felt really embarrassed by the way she was talking to me but I asked the Supervisor if that was one of each type and the Checkout Operator interrupted and said "No, just one coupon as I've already told you". The Supervisor left and I gathered my shopping, as I turned away the Operator snorted and made comments to the next customer about “people causing problems”. I felt really embarrassed but annoyed by her attitude.

I explained what had happened to Customer Services, and asked if they could check their Team 5 Bulletin regarding coupons, as I didn’t want to be in that position again - but they could not find it. They then said they would send for the Checkout Manager, who eventually came and said that coupon acceptance was discretionary but that in any case they would not accept more than 10%. I said I would have been happy if the Checkout Operator had accepted 10% of my coupons – which would have been £2.20, but she had only taken one at 75p. I said I was upset and embarrassed by her attitude and the way she had spoken to me and about me, to another customer. The Checkout Manager said she would speak to her about it!!

I won’t let this one bad experience put me off tendering coupons, but I do wish Tesco would train their frontline staff more thoroughly, if the Checkout Operator had been told there was a maximum of 10%, there would not have been a problem but even so, there was no excuse for her rudeness:embarasse

Acording to CG19a, who sounds to me like s/he knows what they are talking about here

Special Offer Promise vouchers are available at every Tesco. Tell them at the CSD that its on their "F11" screen at the CSD. The vouchers are only supposed to be accepted at the store of issue and are ONLY for multibuys - eg BOGOF, 3 for 2, 2 for £3. They aren't for any special offers such as half price or special price, those offers are deemed subject to availability. Usually they are only issued when there is just one item left in a BOGOF, but if there is a different product that can be taken in its place, eg 3 types of elvive shampoo are on offer, but one is out stock, then a voucher wouldn't be issued as we can still give out some of the offer. Hope this helps.

Some staff at Mr T's believe that the money is coming out of their own pocket . Some coupons have a handling fee on them so Tesco actually get the money back plus round about a 2p handling fee aswell for each coupon, so as long as your coupons are legit then tesco should be making a profit from you. Maybe you should mention this next time you visit tesco and see the "Grumpy Trout" :D

    Hi Bluewkd post 1273
I seem to recall a seeing a sign saying if you take a tesco catalogue to the till you will be given a £5 coupon if you spend over £50 from the catalogue.

hope you get some money off

I asked about this last week and they are no longer doing it, seems to have been initial offer when new catalogue first came out.

    Part of the Furniture
Had a bad/good experience yesterday....first the bad...the A4 paper is on the bottom shelf and as I bent down to get a pack, 3 boxes full of notebads, with hard back and ring binders fell on my head and shoulder from a height of about 6 feet!!! 2 children standing nearby thought it amusing ...I thought it embarasssing and a little bit painful.SA came and asked if I needed the first aider to see if I was OK, .........I was fine, just my shoulder was a little sore, but no problems, and could she please pass me the heavy paper and put it in my trolley.Carried on shopping ignoring pleas to have my name put in the accident book...I was fine I assured them. Now for the 'good'...got to checkouts and miserable old man who looked bored and mean....as I came to hand over my coupons Sa came over to check if I was still OK...she told him I'd been 'attacked' by some rampant notepads...he perked up and was extremely nice and took all my coupons and even scanned troublesome ones in with hand held scanner ...he told me to make sure I gave my details in should I have any recurring problems...thought I'd mention it to customer Services who suggested I complained about the height they stack their shelves...duty manager then came over and we had a lovely chat , I assured him I was fine, but took the opportunity to ask about coupon policy. No probs he said if you don't expect to pay for all shopping with coupons...expect to spend some money and they'll oblige by taking the mocs...he though 50% would be OK, and he thought most of the SA's would oblige if I mentioned his name....worth being a wounded soldier for was that !!!

Mad was at T's today and saw a pal. He has got a dog from the Animal Rescue. It had been run over and lost a leg. The poor mutts bad luck doesn't end there though as my pal has given him the unfortunate name of Tripod.
