Renewing BT broadband

Hi

Just noticed my BT broadband contract has run out and the price has crept back up over £20 month for option 2.
I'll probably renew as I'm out in the sticks and can't get many other options.
Does anyone know which is the best phone no to contact them on to try and negotiate a better deal?
Thanks
C

Why does everyone think that BT is the only provider? There are hundreds of providers that can be your ISP even "out in the sticks". e.g. here

    Do some more research!

thanks espresso- I am well aware of that and I know which providers are and aren't available in my area.
  • If I am an existing user , can I get the newer router as a replacement when I renew .

Other wise what is the point of signing up to another 18 month contract?

    Hi,

I renewed recently and got it down to £15, I'm not sure if thats with or without VAT yet but its still quite a saving from the £22.50 it should be. The first time I rung up they quoted £17.50 though so depends who/what they say.

They also gave me a new homehub (improved black version v2.0) and matching hub phone.

I'm aware there are cheaper providers but BT haven't failed me yet and I don't really want to switch unless I have to.

Either a) say your wanting to leave or b) just ask for an offer for renewing your contract. They'll do it just to keep ya happy. You can renew your contract a month before it expires completely.
  • Whats the best deal you can get in a market 1 area (info from samknows.com) for bt broadband option 3 currently paying £22.50 per month. What sort of offer should I be able to get if renewing my contract?

    Thanks in advance....
