yes you can use starbucks cards in the US! it's great cause you dont have to worry about having the currency on you at the time..
i dont see why people are on this thread if they dont even like starbucks.. if you dont like it.. dont go there.. there are more than enough of us who do like it to show that it obviously doesnt sell bad coffee.. & i dont think it's fair to generalise the whole company based one one bad experience of having coffee which is not hot enough..
i go to starbucks on a regular basis & love it's atmosphere.. friendly welcoming staff who always remember my drink.. range of drinks.. & nice muffins! so you can keep your costa & i will keep my starbucks!!
&they do make their macchiatos right.. espresso first.. teaspoon of milk second.. i have mine with a shot of caramel & love it!
ok.. rant over now0 -
Help - Have I got a free fiver from starbucks?
After reading this I went into town last week and bought a frapuccino £2.90 and £5 worth of credit for my new card. It was paid for on my debit card in one transaction of £7.90
I then went online and created my log in etc and it reconfirmed my £5 credit
My bank statment online shows £2.90 - Starbucks?
and I hadn't been in around a month before then0 -
I emailed Starbucks re potentially free wifi in stores -
"We are also negotiating a deal with BT to allow free in store Wi-Fi access to our Starbucks Card holders and BT customers. A launch date for this has yet to be announced."
So fingers crossed the deal could get even better soon!0 -
Hi
I have purchased/topped up a card today and when i registered it said free drink voucher was for a TALL drink only. But start of this thread states TALL, GRANDE or VENTI. Does anyone know what is correct?
thanks

Every time I've asked for a macchiato, it's been basically a latte. I have to explain about it being espresso with a tiny bit of milk. And the coffee is never hot enough. You have to ask for it extra hot if you want it to still be warm by the time you get on your train. Several different bad experiences, in many branches of Starbucks.
The card is worth getting for the free espresso shots, as their coffee is quite weak. We've got a Starbucks at college and they make 2 espressos every time, even if your drink only has one espresso, so they throw away hundreds of them. Which seems shamefully wasteful.0 -
Hurrah! Got my free beverage token today!0

I think you have to tick both boxes to get the voucher.
Mine probably took just over a month to arrive so hang in there!:p0 -
Do they post it, or email it? I ticked all boxes apart from the "Selected third parties" one.
They kinda made out they would email it.. but no avail.0
