Hi everyone!
Urg- don't see why we shouldn't include positive actions in the challenge. It might help even out any feelings of deprivation- try and replace not so good habits with better ones? I might link stopping eating something bad with a small amount of exercise or trying to eat my 5 a day or something!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
This week I've used up my last mini No7 protect and perfect serum - that's 5 minis gone. I like the serum though, still trying to decide whether to buy it now or another one.
I've also used up a mini No7 cleansing body polish that was in a gwp, really liked this.
Not much more to add - almost there!
Oh I forgot sold 2 freebies today and netted £4.50
On Monday I bought the simple eye make remover as suggested on here and it's really good so far, also got 2 hair things for 44p each, both of which I used vouchers for but I've started using already and paid for it all on my giftcard so I'm doing ok - also didn't wander round boots at all just bought what I went in forInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

I think we have 5 days left from tomorrow and it's bloomin beauty day again and QVC. GRRRRrr!
When does the temptation end?
Really can't let myself buy the TSV as I love BE and have tonnes of the stuff (really!). Hopefully it will be full of stuff I have already and then I can easily talk myself out of it!
Good luck everyone else for the final push and then a quick climb back on the wagon again next week!
Good ideas about putting other things on the challenge too, like that lots!
See you all soon, I am just finishing off a few bottles before the end which is nice including a neck cream that has lasted an eternity and my beloved balm essential is nearly at an end too (weeps sadly at this...)final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

5 days left...? I must be a bit ahead of myself
Didn't realise it was beauty day today.... which is a good thing! I'm on a Bones marathon atm so no QVC for me of late! I must admit to flicking through the tv guide to see what TSVs are coming up, but nothing has caught my eye so far
Looking forward to the next challenge

That's ok then... I'll be busy in the morning with DS then at work all afternoon and evening!

Think I watched about 1 min of Beauty Day.... I flicked on during Ojon, so flicked straight back off again! lol!
Have finished a 15ml LE moisturiser, and all 18 of my disposable razors.... in fact I only realised I finished the razors when I came to de-fuzz this morning, so had to buy some more today
Now in a bit of a dilemma with the LE stuff... I am on my last C&P and Intant boost tonic.... now do I order the 3 piece set from the LE site and get a free full sized body scrub (which I have nearly run out of and will use again) but start a bag log of moisturiser, OR go onto ebay to the LE outlet shop and see if I can get a C&P and Tonic from there, same postage costs, but no freebies...??? What d'ya reckon?

Go for the freebie!! Especially if it is something that you genuinely like and use. I did not buying cosmetics/toiletries for the last challenge, and it made me realise there is nothing wrong in buying what you like and use, if you can afford it. What is a problem is the stashing away of things "just in case" or because you fall in to the trap of thinking it's a bargain. So go for it!
I make Tuesday 21st the last day of the challenge - just about timed to perfection for a couple of weeks of work with the kids. So no lunches to be bought anyway.
Two days to go, stick with it and pat yourselves on the back:beer:0 -

If you like it and you will use it I'd go for the one with a freebie.
For me when I finally run out of moisturiser and if the Decleor Hydra Floral is still my fave then I will continue to buy it and ask for a gift set at Christmas if they do a reasonably priced set with decent sizes in of things I will use- only because I like it and will use it.
If it was a Gatineau dilemma then I wouldn't buy it like this as I finally realise I don't like it and why am I buying something I don't like ( a la pre LBM for skincare!)
I think this challenge helps us to decide what we like, when we use it, will we repurchase it? Do we think it's worth it? If it comes in a gift set, will we use all the items in the set - if the answer is a yes then go for it!
It's not all about downgrading in price for everything if we take the above into account. I suppose it depends upon what we are using.
Watched some of beauty day and didn't order anything!!!!! :j:j:j
Didn't fall for it and thought about all the make up I already have and how I have commited to not adding to it and trying to use it up or sell the rest. Still some way to go with this, I have given quite a bit away which is good and sold a lot of things I would never use. I've sorted out quite a bit more to sell so just need to get around to listing it now!
V. sad at finishing the 30ml Balm Essential as I love that stuff, not so sad at finishing the Delceor Experience De L'Age eye cream as not so good, only a 2.5ml size and it went on forever (esp when I cut it open to get the rest out) but didn't really have any effect. Should manage to use a couple of other things up by the end of the challenge.
Hope everyone is ok and looking forward to the next one!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
