I think this challenge helps us to decide what we like, when we use it, will we repurchase it? Do we think it's worth it? If it comes in a gift set, will we use all the items in the set - if the answer is a yes then go for it! :D

It's not all about downgrading in price for everything if we take the above into account. I suppose it depends upon what we are using.

I completely agree with you - I have a small list of things that I like and would purchase whne all else has gone. I have had some blips but have only ended up buying things I know I will use.

I'm in - I'll have a long hard think about what I need to work on next. I am also thinking of having a positive challenge i.e. one to learn a new good habit!

    Have a lovely holiday Magni!

I've just finished another Lancome minature molisturiser and a pack of face wipes (which I always cut in half). Still got a massive list to get through - but I can see it going.

    Hi all,

I'm in with starting on Aug 1st, makes it easy to keep track off and can stock up on a couple of items so I don't buy anything during the 100 days! I've finished a Boots Time Delay moisturiser which was nice but I prefer a facial wash that involves water (this was a cream and cottonwool type), using a Clinique facial soap I got free and I actually quite like it, not sure if worth the money tho.

    Well done everyone else x

    Have a nice holiday magni!

I'm in too for 1st Aug - will run from 1 August until 8 November, blimey meaning when I discovered this around that time last year it will be 11 months of the challenge for the year but I still need to do this as not quite steady enough to cope on my own yet. Hoping by the end of this challenge that I might be able to face it on my own and my thinking will have changed even more than it has by now!

Managed to avoid the whole of beauty day, but was discussing puffy eyelids with a friend who suggested an Avon eye gel. A mate of my mum's does Avon so I thought rather than buy it online at the same price, I'd get it from her so she could get the commission.
Now I have a stack of three brochures to look through and I want everything!

That's such a good thought about the positive action challenge in the next 100 days - there are so many things that I should do every day but don't always manage. Need to start thinking what to do...

Looks like the 1st August is a date then:T Must get my thinking cap on and think about what to do this time;)

Thanks for all the lovely holiday wishes:D I'll do my best to have a great time. This is my last time checking on here before I go. I have a ridiculously early start in the morning:eek:

See you all when I get back:D

    Can't believe it's almost over!

Managed to use up my last hotel freebie - a moisturiser - on Saturday.

And yesterday a mini bottle of original source bubble bath I must of had for ages and my last face mask sachet were used up :T

I will go through my list on my computer at home tonight and work out just how much stuff I've used up over the challenge.

1st August sounds great to me - just deciding what I'm going to do now!

I think I will continue with toiletries and clothes but think of something other than magazines - I have to confess to not really buying magazines much anyway but knew I'd fail miserably on the clothes!

Oh, think I will choose chocolate (except dark chocolate) cos I really need to cut down.

A few more empties to list!

    L'Occitane Milk Shower Creme 500ml
Nails Inc Rose Oil Cuticle Pen 10ml
Smashbox Under Make Up Primer 15ml
Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Neck Cream 4oz

    Still loads to go!

Will rethink what to put on the next challenge as I failed miserably on the crisps and chocolate front but not on the buying from Mr T and only bought one sandwich for lunch when I forgot mine so not bad out of 100 days!

Feel like I have put quite a bit of weight on so maybe address this one in the next challenge (eg crisps and chocolate duh!) and some bloomin exercise and get off the lapp for a bit!
