If we do finish on the 21st then WEYHEY we made it!!:j:j:j:j:j

I have only bought chocolate once in the last 100 days and am amazed with myself.

I also pledged to avoid buying toiletries - only giving in last week when I ran out of deoderant (well you would wouldn't you?).

I am on holiday on the 1st August but am aiming to:-

    1. Not buy anymore hair shampoo and conditioner (still far too much)
    2. Not buy any meat or fish until the contents of the freezer are used up (gotta make some space for the christmas goodies)

    Good luck everyone.

    I'm done!!

Lunch at work - salad, feta cheese, brown bread, all from home. Fruit for pud (and a biccy from the jar!).

Good luck with the rest of the day. Will be thinking what to do if I join the next challenge.

Yay I've done it. Not a lot to show for it but I only bought two books and two magazines throughout the 100 days. ANd I've not bought any unnecessary toiletries so it's definitely saved me money. Haven't used up as many toiletries as I thought I would've but can carry on working on this.

Wanders off to consider next 100 days...

Well done everyone! I only signed up halfway through this challenge, I haven't really achieved my targets but I've still bought a lot less so that's good. The toiletries pile has definitely gone down. I pledged not to buy any chocolate (apart from Weightwatchers) but have wolfed down any available free chocolate (always available at work) so I've probably eaten more! I'm trying not to buy clothes at the moment but am buying "bargains" in the sales. I need the new challenge to start!

Last day today and I'm done!

A few blips on the way but overall feel stronger now than at the start and I think I've cracked the QVC thing at long last! That's one hurdle cleared!

Bring on the next challenge! I've made my list of things to include and as I now weigh the heaviest I have done for about 5yrs time again to tackle the crisps and chocolate again as I failed miserably here!

Well done everyone, any change is better than none, even if we weren't completely abstinent. I'm aiming high next time!

Think I'm done now- lost track a bit!!

I have done really well with not buying magazines and am really happy with myself. Not so great with the clothes as I fell off the wagon in a big way on a couple of shopping trips. I can't decide if I spent more because I felt I'd denied myself in the challenge so I'm not sure whether to include it next challenge or not. However I'm sure overall this challenge had a major impact on my spending and the related habits for the 100 days.

I'm still trying to decide what to do next time. Might do magazines again but then it might be too easy as I think I've done a good job on cracking the habit with that one. Clothes and books tend to be major splurge items at times but I don't want to then splurge more at the end if I feel denied. I'm thinking maybe doing this with a reward system- put aside a certain amount of money every 10 days to buy a small but nice item off my challenge list when I finish. Does that defeat the object?

Another possibility is to try and crack the Diet Coke habit....I'm a complete addict!! I have quite a lot in the cupboard so if I didn't buy any for 100 days I'd have to cut way down but not go without. If I do this I'm going to go for a positive habit to replace it- 1 smoothie with at least 1 portion of fruit a day.

Hoopefully I'll decide by the time the challenge starts!!

Well done everyone- seems like most people have done really well and all of us have at least started to improve!! :T

  • Wow, another 100 days gone! My stash has reduced a lot, but there's still a way to go! I have definately stopped buying as much stuff as I used to... although I may still stock pile somethings when they are on offer (like OH's hair gel!) Now, what to do next time round....?

Wow Yorkielass, that's some list of things used and sold!

I lost track of mines for some reason, but think used about 20 products which is good for me. Definitely putting toiletries on my list as still got loads to use, must have saved a fortune though.

I'ved used up tons on this challenge as I had lots of half empty pots and jars that I concentrated on during this challenge. Don't know if I should bore you with it all or if you would like to see!

My list starts from March as I tried on my own for a month before everyone else until I restarted with you all in April

    What do you think?
