Pack of facial wipes that were half used finished up now and I've run out so back onto my big bottles of No7 cleanser and toner and slightly dodgey cotton wool await me - and I'll appreciate the wipes all the more when I'm done and won't be tempted by other 'bargains' again.

Well so far I've managed to use up:

    Original Source shower gel
Body Shop Vit E body wash
Body Shop White Musk shower gel
    2 x deodorant
    Eye make-up remover
Penhaligon Lily & Spice body cream (sample)
    Revitalift (sample)
    Gatineau eye pads x 2
I am now finding myself a bit antsy as I have a travel size shower cream and a full size body wash, but that's it. I found myself in John Lewis gazing at a set of 10 Molton Brown shower gels for £20.

Thankfully I didn't give in, but since when was shower gel such a rarity that I need to have 11 in reserve just to feel comfortable? What's wrong with this picture?

Yay magni !! Goodbye everlasting serum!!!:j
Today I finished a Liz Earle gentle exfoliator, and listed the other one on ebay (along with a travel size LE deep cleansing mask).... I do like it, but not as much as the cheaper St Ives that I also have on the go.... the LE was free when I bought some other stuff so no loss there...
Can't wait to finish the Pantene shampoo and conditioner, they really are getting on my nerves now!

    Hi All,

I have finally used up a Very Valentino perfume - yeah! Only 17 bottles or so to go, ha! Nothing else used up but looking forward to the next Challenge cos think could do that no probs if I stick to toiletries!

I will confess to buying 6 vest tops for my hols but I got them using £5 of Tesco vouchers doubled up, so technically only spent £2!

    Hi Everyone

Well done on getting through those stashes everyone. Mine feels like it is not going down at all. In reality I only use a few products - I used to have high hopes to use lots of different products. My new mantra will have to be - do I need it? will I use it? Now where I have heard that before.... maybe I've finally learnt something!:o

Last night, I finished the day cream I was using as a night cream. Will have to look through my stash to work out what to use up next before I start my 'nice' stuff.

No chocolate bought either - was sooooo tempted the other night!

Roll on the next challenge - I can't wait.

I went onto one of the beauty forums i have been steering clear of and a girl had started a thread where you list 10 body moisturisers that you own and then pledge not to buy anymore until those ten are finished. i thought this was a good idea and joined in as it is pretty easy ATM because of this challenge. I just stay away from the shopping links in the forum. I am also looking forward to the next challenge and am hoping by the end of year I will have finished a fair whack of my stash. The only thing I need to purchase in next few months is spf for the face as cant be without that in Aussie heat.

There are days where it's plain obvious I haven't learned anything. Went into boots to get a battery and saw my favourite Dove deodrant reduced so I bought 3. I have about 2 days left on the current one but I just couldn't resist the bargain! I also bought a Botanics serum as I no longer have one - I coudn't face paying for Protect and Perfect as OH's sister can get it for free! I saved over £10 by going down a brand!

    I have finished:
    • Umberto Giannini shampoo and conditioner sachet
    • 5ml P&P
    • A bar of soap
    • Boots Advance foot cream - would buy again!
    I'lll keep plodding on.

    urg x x
