Lost count again, think I'm at 19 days good out of 23, so 4 days of being bad, well need to be bad sometimes. Last two days hardly spent anything at all, apart from food. Well done everybody else!0

Another 2 mascaras finished, bottle of conditioner finished and a trial size moisturiser finished too. Really beginning to see a dent in the pile now!!0

Come on everyone! Hang on in there and don't worry too much about the odd blip on things.
If it is the odd blip out of 100 days DON'T WORRY!
It makes a massive difference to how we were spending before on these things when it might have been everyday in large amounts whether we needed it or not!
Another little update from me:
I bought some recommended Dove Pro Age handcream today to have at home alongside my L'Occitane travel sizes for myhandbag for my super dry hands. Makes a change spending £2.98 on handcream instead of £15-20 as would have been before. Also bought and tried a Boots Expert Concentrated Hand Cream which was half price at £1.31 (!) it sank straight in and made a nice change from the above prices!
My thinking is changing greatly from super expensive salon brands and returning to perfectly acceptable high street brands at a much lower price.
Boots is being browsed more by me than ever which I never even bothered with in the last 4 years after discovering salons and QVC. At least I spend much much less money in there than in those places! Only bought reduced items today that I had run out of
Also used up a Toni and Guy Leave in Hair Conditioner (mini size)

Hello, not been here for a while!
good to see you all doing so well - blips wouldn't have been seen as blips before it would have been normal spending!
I had to buy some shampoo had run out (first time in a long time)
and I am sure I bought some thing else whilst in Superdrug. just cannot remember what. Oh yes I can Simple stuff - it is what I use now given away all other toners and face creams.
and I did have to order something off Avon to keep my rep account open - but I am using it everyday so its not so bad.
My next plan is go through everything I have left and be brutal and chuck stuff away. I still have a shelf in my cupboard full and haven't touched it.
The other thing I have realised is that I get a lot less spots using Simple stuff and now I am in a routine with it I am very pleased - that only happened because of this challenge.
I think I may cured of overspending on toiletries....I think......(famous last words!) Everything I have bought has been because I have run out of it. I now have a random selection of specialist treatments(!) and foot cream and bubble bath......
still no mags or Amazon shopping - may need to break that tho cos its my sister's birthday..........
and Mum baked a fruit cake
take care all

Sunday rolls round again - another week down with lunches at work all brought from home. Got the coming week's stuff lined up - salads now the (slightly!) better weather is here are much more appealing. Cold meat/cheese/boiled eggs - whatever is left over and handy to grab.
Must be better for me than all that bread, marg and mayo in bought sandwiches.0 -
Well a little blip for me today but it was in a good cause! Bought a white shirt from M&S (only £7.50) but it was because I have a part-time job now and needed it for that. It was either that or waste my good white shirt and have to replace it, so don't feel too bad. So still 19 out of 24 for me!0

Good going everyone! The blips aren't a problem since we all fess up and get back on track. Hopefully we're getting into better spending habits for the long term. I feel like I am!
I need advice as to whether something counts as a fail or not!! I received a £10 voucher for Littlewoods from a charity I support so decided to treat myself and get a couple of vest tops. Although they were free I had to pay the postage for them. Do I count this as a blip??
Welcome ebonylight! That sounds very challenging- good luck with it!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Still not bought any chocolate - managed to get a few celebrations at my parents today!
On the toileties front, I have just finished a solid shampoo (Lush) and am on my last one. I have some left in a bottle but I only use that when I feel like my hair needs a realky deep clean. The solid shampoo lasts for ages so don't think I'll need some until way into the summer.
I'm still a bit disheartened that my stash doesn't seem to be going down as much as everyone elses. I guess that means I just don't use as many products as I thought I should at some point!
Keep up the good work everyone.

I'm still trying to finish my serum, toner, day and night cream. They seem to be everlasting :rotfl: I've been finishing them for what feels like forever. The toner is almost at the bottom though. I think I need this finished to geve me some motivation lol.
Well done to everyone who has finished stuff. For the blippers don't worry. It's exactly as Fedup said. It's an improvement on past behaviour and that's what matters:beer:100 Day Pot £13

Ok but what if the blips turn out slightly more expensive?! White shirt I bought is useless, need a black one, not impressed! Gonna make do with a black T I seen in New Look for £4, oh and had to buy black trousers too, argh! Should work out ok once start actually making extra money, so not too concerned (well maybe just a wee bit)! Only thing doing well on is toiletries, STILL doing my list and lets just say have enough to last til end of next year! Well done everyone else!0
