100 day challenge take 3

I silently followed the last 100 day challenge and now I've found the thread I would like to go public and join the new 100 day challenge.
I will forsake purchasing the following:-
- toiletries and cosmetics (I have so much to get through anyway);
- new clothes (I have so many anyway);
- handbags (I have so many anyway...anyone starting to notice a pattern?);
- cards (I make my own sometimes so hopefully this will translate to always).
Surely that's enough?
Good luck to everyone (and I think I'll need it as well)I wanna be Mortgage Free by February 20130 -

Well done fedupandskint :T:T
7 days successfully completed here and already this challenge is helping in lots of ways. I had a quick look at the Boots thread earlier and whilst a couple of months ago I'd been getting excited that I could potentially get 3 products practically free I'm now thinking that I don't usually buy any of these products or any similar to them so why would I need them now just because they're a *bargain* ?! :rolleyes:.

Good start to this challenge. Having no money coming in to replace anything I spend is very motivating:eek::rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

7 days down already??? That's nearly a TENTH of this challenge! :j WOW!
Am doing well, haven't bought anything from my list yet!
I have enough chocolate to last the challenge, the landlord of the pub I work in, feeds me bombay mix (for free), meaning I get my extra salt hit (and yes, I DO need it!), and my OH will buy me a magazine on a gossip-rich week!
This way, the challenge works for me. Last challenge, my OH bought me 3 magazines in the 100 days, and that was FINE! Each time I read it, I would think that there was no substance in it, and WHY did I want it so much? My spending habits have DEFINITELY changed since I started these challenges.
When it feels like it's tough going, just remember, you're doing well, and make sure you're feeling REALLY smug!

Just seen an article on the Times website called "confessions of a beauty junkie"! Very apt in the circumstances.
