Just shows ta go ya BB, when life seems the most dire, if you remain up beat and positive something good will come your way. Great news about the money! wish I could say the same...

£110 seems to high for a normal payment, keep an eye out for your award statement for the year.

hiya Gemmz. I was on £99 per month last year. They dropped it to £81 from April on an assumed salary, but my actual income was almost the same as last year and I gave them the figures, so I guess it has gone back up? I had my annual award statement a few weeks back with the forms which is why it's changed.

Well, no news either way so I guess the successful person is mulling it over. To be honest, I've already drawn a line under the experience, taken stuff from it and moved on. There is 1 job I am going to apply for in the paper this week, not a great salary but would be a good enough stop gap for 6 months or so. Couple of jobs at work but they need project management qualifications which I don't have.

Off to do some food shopping online. OH owes me £65 and I am using it to buy the rest of the food for the month. I haven't been able to spare any money from my own budget for food so I have this £65 to pay for all the meals for the month. I have mince out for tonight and then there is no meat in the house (although plenty of rice, pasta, potatoes, noodles, lentils etc etc etc). I said to OH last night about going vegetarian for a few days - I could have done potato curries with rice and home made naan, mediterranean pasta dishes, chinese noodle dishes with vegetables, mixed bean chilli with rice off the top of my head without even having to think too much.

'No'. he snorted 'I am not a vegetarian'

So, £65 for everything to last the month. Should be do-able as have plenty of toiletries, cleaning products, loo roll and lots of pasta, rice, potatoes etc. It will be mostly meat and some vegetables.
