£54 in my account - a couple of quid for the skirt.
Bargain ebay skirt arrived - bit tightbut fits enough for the tight bits to be covered with a blouse/jacket, it's just a long, straight black skirt with a slit up the front. I'm going to send back the jacket AND the skirt to Evans as I'm happier in the ebay skirt, style wise and I'll make a decision about the blouse when I try on the whole outfit. Original outfit was £57, ebay outfit if I keep the blouse will be £39 so £18 cheaper :T If I keep the pink blouse I have a pair of pointy pink shoes which will be perfect
Just need an interview now "Stay Wonky":D

Happy new diary BB! Yours was one the first I ever read when I 'found' MSE. So glad you've opened up with everything, at least now your friends can offer support and love.
As for other half-well, you know how I feel.
I know you will get a new job-you iz dead clever!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
awwwwwwwww.ta bunny xxxx I remember the first time we really 'spoke' was when you sent me a PM with the recipe to Pumpkin Pie
Well, OH has had a tantrum strop over him needing a lift and being late....and me asking him to put a seatbelt on before I drove off and him just saying 'go - GO'! and then him hissing and fizzing outside the car and then eventually getting back in :rotfl: I just found it silly and I see how much I've changed. The old 'me' would have caved in and let him win. But i won't be spoken to like that anymore and it has just pushed my assertiveness and feeling of being in control up a notch.
Anyway, onto money.......yuck.....spent £30 today that I just don't have _pale_ I put £10 of petrol in the car as I was almost dry, I spent £10 in Asda on ingredients for my cake for cake decorating class and a few bits for the office cakes I need to do for Tuesday (about 40 people). I got £10 cashback as well. I realised when I opened my purse yesterday and found about 30p (literally) in it, that it was the first time I'd opened it all week. :T
Daily Scratchard was 20p :j:rolleyes:
Taught for 2 hours this morning and it was great. Never taught IT before and it was a lovely group - a really basic course (mouse/keyboard etc) but it was great.
However, I haven't done any AQA for 3 days now because of everything else and I now need to do £29 every day until the end of the month to just break even on bills so the figure has gone up a bit.
Got the local paper. No jobs this week for me to apply for."Stay Wonky":D

When will you hear about the other jobs you've applied for BB?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

well, corporate trainer is a no-no (the one I was 'encouraged' to apply for by the department advertising it - fat lot of good that was to me ) as the interviews are Tuesday.
Job similar to my old one without the 1 aspect I was sick of that may have rare dealings with Cruella - closed Wednesday. Interviews 27th. Booked the day off just in case.
Very senior manager, bizarrely bolted together job description but 30k and already advertised once but they'd like to consider me with the batch on the re-advertising of it as not enough candidates (can't think why!!) - closed Friday. No date given as to the interview date. Really doubt I'll get an interview for that - it needs a really weird mix of skills and is really senior.
RNLI Data Protection officer - closes 25 May, interviews 16 June.
Stucture announcement in my department - god knows. Doubly frustrating as I know exactly which jobs are my number 1,2 and 3 choices but until they get the structure announced and then interviews for the jobs that don't already have people slotted in, I'm well and truly stuck.
Feeling a mix of guilty and frustrated that I haven't worked on AQA yet today. I've done well over 50 hours in the last 7 days but I still feel I should be working more hours. To be honest, that should read I should already have been working even more hours over the past week. It's going to be a horribly desparate month next month"Stay Wonky":D

Blimey BB,
you're working loads, try not to feel quilty. (I know, I know, stupid to say sorry)
You're doing the right thing by applying, you just have to keep at it. (again, stupid thing to say, sorry.)
I seem to be a bit lacking in helpful contructive things to say today...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
not in a good place today.
Just about to start AQA'ing."Stay Wonky":D
