    lol!!

Under a stone in the west country....

Anyway Babe... promise I'm not taking over, I suffered from severe depression for 2 year, and have only just gotten over it. Never be ashamed of a problem like that. It just means that we need more support, which isn't bad as you find more friends that way.

    Keep up the good work

hello Lucy - it is really lovely to see you again

I am still in a bad place today, it's hard to describe how I feel, a mix of struggling against life, the fear of my life not really being anywhere near where it should be 24 hours short of being 39, the thought of being so broke for the forseeable future after going through it all a couple of years ago and the general feeling of being 'used' by people around me....not just OH but others as well.....not you lot I hasten to add!!

My day is having to have a change of priorities. Partly because I am feeling incredibly unsociable and partly because there really are more important things I need to be doing - ie those which earn money.

    My day should have been

up and wash very skanky hair
    take Charlie out
make a cake from what I have in the cupboard (need 1 more for work cakes tomorrow)
teacher training course in the afternoon
AQA for a couple of hours
Cake decorating class in the evening

My day is now going to be

    shower and de-skank hair (done!)
take Charlie - done and I've brought him here for company
    make a cake
work through the handouts for next Saturdays ICT class - it's on spreadsheets and it's not my specialism
    AQA
Possibly go to cake decorating class, possibly not - see how things are at 6pm.

Had a £25 gift card from my Mum and Dad this morning for my birthday with a note saying it is easier for me to get the kitchen scales I want rather than them being posted. Makes sense although the scales are £10, I don't know if you can leave leftover money on a gift card

Right........time to make a cake. I've managed to do an apple cake and a refrigerator cake with ingredients in the house so far. I'm going to make a honey cake I think. Never made the recipe so let's hope it works. Also have enough golden syrup to make a very small batch of flapjacks.

Is it one of those credit card style ones? If so you usually can.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down - don't beat yourself up over where you 'should' be though, the only thing you should be is happy.

    Hi

I know how you feel but the only place you should be is where you are. If you spend too much time thinking about what might have been you'll drive yourself doo-lally!

I know it's hard but try to tell yourself that you are enroute to where you want to be. I often read your diary and I find it really inspiring

Take care - and Happy Birthday!

    Hiya BB

Please try not to beat yourself up with the coulda, woulda, shoulda. Like Shoe Gal says, you are on the way to where you want to be, and you're working really hard to get there.

I'd add a birthday cake smiley, but I have a suspicion you may already have seen more cake than you want to today. ;) So I'll simply wish you happy birthday for tomorrow - with an emphasis on lots of happy. :D
