I did do it upside down, but the images were showing figure of 8 stitchwork and directions to do in and it was hard enough for the right handers! My brain just went into meltdown as I was working upside down and also trying to do the figure of 8's in the other direction. If it hadn't have been held where I work, I would have left at lunchtime. I can definitely say there is no point in me continuing.
We did this

I got the hang of the first row, but once the second row was started it was confusing which ones to go through and then I had to do it upside down in reverse which was just _pale_
Just having a look to see if we have any other things I can have a go at this term.....I do fancy Stained Glass painting but that might have run.....
oooooooooh, it's not happened yet, it's next month - maybe I should see if I'm as spectacularly bad at that as well!!! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

It doesn't matter if you're good at it - just so long as you enjoy it...

Well at least you didnt do what I would have done, which would have been to chuck all the bloomin beads on the floor and gone in the huff:rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:

I nearly did chuck all the beads on the floor....it was that close to the edge for me.....:o
I didn't enjoy it to be honest, I had visions of me being able to create beautiful pieces of jewellery and I came home with a bizarre 2 row mess of beads and about 2 inches of little cubes of beads we'd done on a skewer which apparently would eventually make a cube shaped bangle
The course was very good - I just wasn'tIt's bizarre - my Mum and both my sisters are really good at all things craft related. My mum does tonnes of scrapbooking, both my sisters make jewellery and my youngest sister even used her spare room as a craft room in her old house she had so much stuff!
I can definitely add that hobby to knitting, embroidery, tapestry, cross stitch, paint by numbers, dressmaking, crotcheting, airfix models and stuff you pour into mold and then paint when it sets as being craft related hobbies I am rubbish at!
I think there's only card making, scrapbooking, rug making (rug ragging I think?) and glass painting to go and I've got the complete set! :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D

Is the rest of your family more patient that you?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I think so - where it comes to craft related stuff, yes. They find it relaxing to sit for hours with a cross stitch. I just get bored and want it finished - now!!
On the flip side though - I'm quite happy to stand for 45 minutes stirring a risotto until it is cooked (as I currently am doing), knead dough for bread or chop big piles of vegetables..........I'm a funny booger really because I find those kind of things relaxing......."Stay Wonky":D
