Hoping to do as much AQA as I can handle today as there is no excuse this month due to the lack of teaching hours meaning no teaching planning.

Not really in the mood though - I just feel a bit down today.

On other news - urgent replacement of can opener required and it's double scratch Sunday today on the scratchcards so that's another 20p i'll win.........it's all go.......

I got bored with the video after 4 beads were on the string :) Good job I wasn't there or I'd have tied the string around my wrist (with the 4 beads on) and said, 'there, a bracelet... pub time now'

I'm pretty awful at anything creative to be honest. I just have no patience at all. I think my trouble is I spent many thousands of hours learning to play drums, playing the same pattern over and over until it was perfect, sometimes 20 hours a day without a break. So, I've used up my concentrate and work at something quota for this lifetime. This is one of the reasons I find teaching hard, I do some, sometimes, but I tend to push too hard too fast which the students don't always like.

Well done for sticking at the day, a year ago you'd never have even thought about going, so you are moving on from the cruella episode in leaps and bounds.

    ta everyone :)

Had a bit of a spend in the supermarket, only went to buy a tin opener and a loaf of bread and spent exactly £18  The tin opener was £3.50 and I did have a 3 bag haul with the other money spent - 2 loaves of reduced bread, reduced pork joint at £2.80, peppers at 5p each, jackets potatoes 20p a bag, salad 20p a bag etc so it was an MSE shop :D my finger did hover over the £10 cashback button (I was on a self service till) but I know I have about £5 in change in my purse so I resisted.

I actually don't feel that well, I am very tired and have very little concentration today. Maybe I'll just do the washing up, re-make the bed and put the washing out and then do dinner later and chill rather than work. Stupid thing to do but I really do feel tired. I bought a copy of yesterday's local paper as well and will have a look at the jobs. I haven't bought a paper since I was looking for my current job and the paper feels very thin, so I'm guessing there won't be much in it but it only needs to be the 1 job that is right for me.

well, as suspected, the job section in the local paper was as skinny as Cheryl Cole on a fat day, however, there is 1 possibility......it's between 30 and 37 hours (dependent on the candidate but they are flexible), it's 21 - 26k and is the majority of the elements of the job I left 2 years ago. However, it has the element I grew to hate missing from it and the reason I said I would never work in this field again so has the bits I used to enjoy in it.

    however........

it's working back in the same 'public service' arena as my last job (won't be too specific but it's a HUGE government public service we all use at some time) and whilst it's not working for the same one as Cruella is at, the job may come into contact with her at some time in the future on odd occasions because of the nature of the job.......hmm.....

I think you're strong enough to do a job that you enjoy and face her if you should cross paths.

I think I would be Gemmz.....I might well apply, I've re-read the JD and I can do all the aspects of it.

Didn't do any AQA yesterday, felt too tired. Done a bit today but am going to have lunch in a minute (reduced chicken kiev plus potato peeling chips - so MSE!) so will do some more later.
