hmmmmmmmmm........well, I've had a very big glass of wine and am knackered so may have my sums very wrong, but, I think after the bills come out during May and adding in my WTC I'll get mid month plus £100 AQA (couldn't face any more tonight!), I will have £211 to be split between my first CC and money for the rest of the month...I think I'll pay £100 off the CC and that will leave me £111 for petrol and food other than the food OH pays for plus anything else that is needed for the month. I currently have £13 waiting to come to me from Quidco into my other account so that's a total of £124 to play with (I think!)
Should be enough I if I am careful but if I get an interview for the trainers job on the 19th I will really need an outfit as I haven't had a new work suit for over a year and I've been wearing the blouse and skirt part all the time.
I haven't cashed the NI refund cheque yet but I'm planning for that to be next months' overpayment.
It should mean I don't have to touch my savings for the first time in god knows how many months so I guess that, plus paying off my gas and electric bill of £300 and paying £100 instead of £25 off the CC is a good, if steady start to the campaign.
I might re-do the sums when my brain is a bit more awake tomorrow!"Stay Wonky":D

It's looking pretty good BB, if slightly wine-fogged!
Could you make the work suit do, or maybe just get a new blouse to freshen the outfit up? (Then treat yourself [STRIKE]if[/STRIKE] when you get the job?)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
it's not even a full 'suit', it's a black suede jacket which is lovely and I've worn about 10 times but the suede has worn a bit where I've been leaning against the desk. The skirt isn't a matching one, just a long black and grey skirt, I wore it to the Manc. meet so it's already on the demotion from office wear to pub wear and it gets washed at least twice a week so it's getting a bit tired now
I don't have any other jackets etc because I've not worked in a suited and booted environment for years now.
And erm..........all the other stuff in my wardrobe from a few years ago is too small.....:o "Stay Wonky":D

I think if you are going to be job hunting, an interview suit could be classed as an investment then. Feeling like you look the part can sometimes make quite a bit of difference to how you carry yourself and how confident you feel.
And either you will get the job (and it will have been worth the investment), or you wont, and you will need to go for other interviews (and it will have been worth the investment).
