    that's ok shaun - I'm more than happy to hear about your medical situation :) It doesn't sound nice :(

    I've just found a £4 postal order in the bread bin (as you do). It is dated 6 November 2008 so just about in date still! I think i'll cash it tomorrow. However, I have absolutely no idea where it came from :confused:

    They haven't received my application for a new small earnings certificate or the letter requesting a refund, nothing at all recorded on the system :rolleyes: They are sending another form and have advised me to send it recorded. I really shouldn't have to do that just so a simple letter reaches them :rolleyes: The timescale for refunds is 4-6 weeks so I'm not going to see the money now until mid June :mad:

    Shaun - the bread fairies huh? Can I have a shot of whatever you're on - with ice please :D

    This is quite typical BB - unfortunately.......HMRC are quite bad with paperwork now...they even rang me once for a copy of the paperwork they had sent to me as they had lost their copy......

    And then there was the time that they rang to say they couldn't read a letter we had sent them. My copy looks okay I said? they said yes, but we scan it at our end and then it makes the text go fuzzy and we can't read it...! I wasn't really sure what to say or do about that one...maybe a letter in fuzzy txt that goes straight when you scan it...:rotfl:

    BB they did the exact same thing with me too, I had to apply 3 times for my small earning certificate before they eventually sent me one...........:rolleyes:
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Can I say something a bit bizarre?

    I'm enjoying having a diary again, it's giving me some kind of strange 'excitement' at the challenge I'm facing.

    I know, I'm one sick puppy. :rolleyes::p:rotfl:

    it's a weird feeling 'enjoying' the fact that my main challenge in life at the moment seems to be sorting debt and it's giving me such a buzz......I'm a funny bugga you know........
