I would send a calm response to them and state that as you're new you have checked the rules and they clearly state any refund should be made in the same format as the original payment was made. As you are happy the item was in perfect condition when you sent it then assuming they are not happy with it then please return it to you so you can relist it and once you get it back you will obviously refund the original transaction as in accordance with Ebays rules etc.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! I may just have to copy and paste this, lol - its perfect wording!
I got a response back from ebay again (how on earth i got the same guy as the first response, lol, must only be one or two dealing with that subject). But anywho they have asked for the header (i thought i sent it but maybe not) so just trying to do that now. Its a hotmail email account so having trouble trying to figure out how.
But as for the buyer i haven't responded to her last email and she hasn't emailed again just yet. :rolleyes:Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -
Welcome to the scammers paradise that is Ebay. Personally, I treat every sale as a potential scam until I receive feedback.
Don't EVER give a partial refund. Use some thing like ListingFactory to post your listings (read a review on 'dooyoo.co.uk'). You can edit the 'Returns Policy' section to include the phrase 'Refunds will only be given on receipt and inspection of the item/s, where no fault is found, a £5.00 inspection fee will be deducted from the final refund.'
This makes it quite clear to purchasers of what your T&Cs are.
On the subject of Negative f/b, the more you sell, the greater the chance you will receive at least 1 'neg', but in the meantime, all the 'possative f/b' will soon dilute it.Never Knowingly Understood.

Is it possible to ban the buyer right now? does this stop them being able to leave feedback/affecting you again at a later date? (at least from that account anyway).0 -

Blocking a bidder only stops them from bidding on further auctions, unfortunately it doesn't stop them leaving feedback on existing wins or from contacting a seller.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
