Well, DH managed to get in before me yesterday :) But he has to be on the training course for 2 weeks, he doesn't do well in classrooms so hopefully he'll cope ok with it. He's also joined a savers scheme with them and is considering the pension, he left all the info in the classroom yesterday so I couldn't have a look at it but hopefully he'll bring it home tonight.

Need to go shopping tonight and 'need' to make sure I stick to the list that I've already printed out from mysupermarket, might change some of the items for smart price while I'm there if it looks better and cheaper. Was planning on lasagne this weekend but don't think it will be happening as I need to only get what we need in case DH's ex-boss decides to be an a** and under or not pay at all. Fingers are crossed that he pays and with the holiday pay that is owed to DH.

Never got round to checking DH's credit report as I was supposed to last night, he has a judgement on there that he wasn't aware of and a 'unsatisfied' debt on there which was a hire purchase he sent back as soon as he received it as didn't want it in the end so he cancelled it.

He tried to get bank statements to show the payments to 3 when he had his contract phone but apparantly the bank deletes all record of customers when they close the account, anyone know if this is correct? I know businesses have to hold onto certain data for 6/7 years but don't know about banks.

Had car insurance renewal waiting for me when I got home, to renew they wanted £400.05, so went online, TCB to GoCompare and CompareTheMarket, found the cheapest with KwikFit, went through TCB to KwikFit and got it for £350 :) (Plus if it tracks correctly I should receive £42.50 cashback :D)

Weathers kind of cr*p today, very cloudy and windy but still sort of warm

Have a nice day all xxx

Hmm not sure about banks deleting old customer's info - my instinct would be to think not but certainly would be interesting to find that out methinks. How about posting on one of the other boards, maybe the main DFW board?

so pleased regarding your husband's job - sounds like a real breakthrough for you as a couple. Good luck to him as he settles in. I understand what you are saying about the course - it is a shame but if it is too exhausting and contributing to you feeling ill at work it is kind of pointless. Hugs....

Hope you enjoy lots of sunshine this week

    Morning All

Bloods went ok yesterday but was left feeling weak and tired, got to work for 11am so only lost 2 hours. Was so tired last night needed DH to help me in the bath and to keep an eye on me in case I went dizzy and fell.

DH is getting on ok at the classroom, counting down the days that he has to spend there :) Had to have money for parking yesterday and today though which made things difficult as been extremely tight with money as was only £5 away from going over overdraft!
The 'savers scheme' at his job isn't exactly a savers scheme, its for those who are starting without a PCV licence, it costs the company £1000 to train those without the licence so they take £5 a week from their wages for 2 years to show their commitment to the company, if they were to leave before the end of the 2 years, they would have to pay whatever was left. If they stay with the company at the end of the 2 years they would get the full amount (£520) of what they had paid + £100 back in their wages. So in 2 years time if he is still there he will get that money back. What would happen if DH had to leave before the 2 years I don't know though as DH is using it as a savers scheme as he's already got his PCV licence so they don't have to train him.

I checked out the bank statements and they can be obtained, DH would need to write a letter and sign it to the bank and pay a charge and they will get the statements we need. Now just need to get DH to do it!

Went shopping and stuck to the list, bought SP crisps instead of A*da own, they don't taste nice but they were cheaper at least.

Thanks for the supporting comment SH, it was a difficult decision to make and my Mum did try at first to talk me out of it, mainly because I was so close to the end of it, but all I said to her was that I wouldn't of been well enough to do the exam so I might as well focus on getting my body back while trying to keep working.

DH has been paid properly :) We are almost out of the overdraft :D We probably would be if I didn't have the set amount at the beginning of each month to go to the bill account, but it won't be anywhere near the limit so we won't get charged that much :)

Still waiting to hear on the house, reeeeeally want to find out if we've been accepted or not!!!! I want to know lol

Got some gorgeous sunshine today thankfully as yesterday was very miserable, dark clouds and rain in the afternoon.

Am very happy with the email this week, with the audible.com, 2 free e-books, I did it with both me and DH and got all 4 Twilight books so that I can listen when tired instead of reading. I get frustrated when I can't do anything so at least now I can listen :)

Hope you've all got nice weather :) xxx

    WE'VE BEEN ACCEPTED!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Now we need to wait for the referencing to be completed from the Estate Agent (which they emailed to me today and I've already posted, just need to ring on Tuesday to make sure they have received them, check there's nothing else they need and pay the referencing fee) which should take 3-4 days so hopefully we'll know by the end of next week, then we pay the deposit and month rent in advance, 5 days after that has cleared we can move in :D

    Wahoo, what a month :)

Grocery Challenge :j £175.72/£250 :D But it was a 4 week month so knew I was going to spend less :)

    Debts currently at £9,517.81

    Debt at worst £12,600.55
    Debt at 01/06/2010 £ 9,517.81
    Total Paid £3,082.74
24.46% Paid off, nearly a quarter gone :D

M&D have already transferred the money for the Agent Fee via Sisters bank account (they give her a cheque) so I won't be counting the fee or deposit/rent in June's SOA as they are already paid for. Better go get the SOA done lol or I'll forget like I did last month

Not going to worry about June's SOA as unsure what will be happening and when, everything is on multiple spreadsheets so that I can make sure nothing goes where it isn't supposed to.

Rang the EA's today and they haven't receied the paperwork yet, posted on Saturday so it is probably stuck with the BH post, hopefully they will get it tomorrow. They will ring me when they get it to confirm everything is there or ask for other bits and then I'll pay the fee.

Mum and Dad have said they are going to come up and help with the move if/when it happens, just in case DH has to work. DH has already let XW know and she is ok with having the boys for the weekend we need to move so that we can get the house into some sort of order before they come over.

We've also had a chat about DH's car, he's been saying for months we should get rid of it and get something cheaper for him to drive around in, but the problem for me is that it is the perfect car for driving down to Cornwall in for me, it's automatic so don't have to worry about gears, it has cruise control so I can rest my legs as much as possible instead of having one tensed all the way on the acellerator (sp?) But, we've decided to let the MOT decide what happens to it, if it passes, we'll keep it and if anything goes wrong with it we'll get rid of it, if it fails but is cheap to fix, we'll fix and see how it goes, if it fails and expensive we'll scrap/sell it and deal with only 1 car for a while until we can buy another. With the Staff passes me and DH will get with his new job we can travel on the buses up here for free, so I think I'll be bussing to work and he'll be taking my car on earlies or lates as don't know if there will be a bus at the time he needs either early enough to get there on time or late enough to get home. If he's on middles then we can both leave the car at home and use the buses, giving the car a rest and saving on petrol :)

Need to change siggy now that I've put the numbers update up :rotfl: I was too busy running around the house screaming :D
