Cooker is ordered and should be arriving on Wed :) Cashback has tracked and have £36.32 waiting :) Since joining TCB I have made £170 odd in cashback! Wish I'd known about that site before!!! Got an electrician quote to connect the cooker, L*ttlewoods wanted around £90 for it and electrician quoted £20/30 :)

Ordered another refill for the Feliway diffuser, it's to help cats relax :) 95p cashback on that too :D Gizmo's food is cheaper on that site so will use that one from now on :)

Left message about the fridge/freezer, just waiting to hear from her now.

DH's pay was a nice suprise this week!! Much more than I'd estimated as he's gone on to the normal rate instead of training rate since he's been learning the routes with his mentor :) He'll be on his own from tomorrow, he's doing all the work today but his mentor is staying on the bus in case he needs him. He has a form to fill in to join the Union there, which of course will come out of his wages :o He doesn't have to join, but I've left him to decide that one.

Can't think of much else at the moment, hope everyone is ok and the weather isn't too bad where you all are :) xxx

I've spoken to the lady about the fridge, she orders them and then it gets sent to the finance department and they don't hold onto any order numbers, so there's nothing I can do apart from wait for a phone call from them to say they are delivering it. Keep your fingers crossed it's before next weekend!
Any idea's on what we can do if it doesn't come in time??

    Microwave meals?;):D

Seriously not sure you can do much. Not exactly the same but I remember one of my student houses had a larder fridge but the only freezer we had was a freezer compartment at the top of said fridge. So basically for a year I had to be very choosy over what food I bought!

Not sure that's much help but can't think of anything *goes off to ponder for a bit*

Contract is signed and deposit is paid :D Got lost trying to find the place though!!! :rotfl:
The problem with micro meals is they need to be kept cold, we'll have the cooker but we will have nowhere to put things like milk, butter etc

Thinking positively that it will arrive in time!!!!

:j Got keys yesterday :j Really shouldn't of tried to take stuff down though, whole body is pure agony today! First day off for DH today for 7 days and he took one look at me, got out the bed and told me he was taking me to work, bless him! Arms are full of pain and legs are just empty, but got some pics of it while I was there, don't know if it will work but I've got a facebook link here I hope it works :) Shows the garden too :D

Cooker has arrived today :) DH has gone in search of some cables, it's the same as his Mums and he connected that one himself so he's going to do ours as well. No news on fridge freezer, going to wait until friday and if still not heard anything I've seen a mini fridge on the Argos website, started a new thread in Old Style and got linked to another with soooo many tips on how to live without a fridge :) But getting a mini fridge for things like milk and butter and going to try and live off tins till the new one arrives!! Mini fridge Not sure what to do with the frozen stuff we've got already, we won't eat through it all before we move *shrug*

Van is booked, DH will pick it up friday at 5pm. Mum and Dad are hopefully going to my Uncle in Lakes tomorrow, then they'll be coming over Friday aft/eve. They've gone to Trago today to get some curtain poles, will worry about curtains later :) Taking the ones we've got already but there is a little window in our bedroom and the lounge so will need to find some blackout curtains for those as well as they are both rooms that people will be sleeping in, me and DH's room every night and lounge whenever someone comes to stay :) Plus need to get some for boys room, I'm thinking Ben 10 :) They seem to like him :)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine xxx

ETA I forgot but from this weekend I won't have internet at home, it will turn off just after we move and we have to have an engineer in because of it being a new build to check the sockets etc will continue to come on while I'm working though :)

Ooh moving house is very exciting! Good news about the cooker arriving - here's hoping you get the fridge sooner rather than later!

I'm still getting bits for our house and we moved a year ago LOL:D I'd have a look at places like (think it's called?) B&M, there's one not far away from us and have found they sell a lot of the kids' branded stuff (quilt covers in particular) cheaper than you'd find it in, say, Argos so might be worth shopping around.

Not bad really, Dad's has of course gone up as he's the one who's given us the money to move and won't allow any money back till next year. Interest has gone up on CC1  July's surplus will be going towards overdraft, still doing the same as before, taking money from my account only when the joint is going to become overdrawn so that the charges stay down, amount for July is 64p :) We'll still be using a little of the overdraft until the end of the year so not going to up my OP's yet, I'm still paying around £7 more than min on CC1 and £7 on CC2, once we are out of the overdraft the amount to deposit account will go up. On spreadsheet I've kept the CC's at the same amounts I'm paying now and working on the house deposit as we get reviewed every 6 months on how much we've got and how much we are putting away each month, even focusing on the house deposit I can make a larger payment to CC2 and clear it by end of next year, CC1 will follow a couple of months later, but I'm still estimating on gas/electric so not really sure what will happen yet.

Mum and Dad will be driving to Uncle's tonight as Dad has been called in to work today. Mum has bought the curtain poles for us, our housewarming present from them (even though I've argued that we don't need one as we wouldn't of been moving in first place if it wasn't for their help!) but the present is a lawn mower :) Tomorrow morning Dad and Uncle are going to have a game of Golf (typical Dad!!) not sure what Mum will be doing, then they will be coming to ours in eve :) Going to see what we can use up from the freezer until we move so that we don't have to throw too much away.

Still tubigripped up, right hand is now having spasms and moving all on it's own at times, I'm used to my legs doing it but my arms/hands is something new :o

New house has a rotary washing line :D I was going to buy one until EA showed me around the house to inspect everything and it was in the shed :) Can't find the hole in the ground though as it is a mini jungle out there lol Good job Mum and Dad decided on the present I suppose.

We have B&M's up here :) I've found the curtains we bought when we first moved here but not sure about using them as they are blackout curtains and boys are a little afraid of the dark, so a little light through curtains might help them, I never put the curtains up in their room, they just had the blinds that have always been there and never complained. So will be looking there when things have calmed down a little :) Find loads of little bargains in there :)

DH has got the cooker cables so he'll be connecting that today :) After he's had his car in for re-test on MOT. We now have an oil leak and his friend that we take the cars to has said it is in desperate need of a new timing belt :( Bl**dy thing!!!

Still no word about Fridge/Freezer, think I'll be buying a mini one, will need to go on CC2 and pay it next month when things are a little more relaxed!

Ummmmmm, don't think there's anything else really. We've pulled the boys beds apart, only the bunks will be put back up as DH's step son hasn't been around at all this year, so figured we could do with the space more. The old sofa bed will be in there if he ever changes his mind. Need to get one of those vacuum bags for the duvet, pillow and linen so that it's in there ready.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and warm weather :) xxx

A fridge has popped up on freecycle :) Fingers crossed it hasn't gone already, owner says it's not in very good condition but it works, which is fine for us, we only need it till ours arrives. DH has said he can pick it up once he gets the van and then when ours arrives he'll take the freecycle one to the tip :) if it's that bad as we won't have anywhere to store it.

We are having to use only 1 car at the mo as DH's is in dire condition apparantly and isn't going to be cheap to fix :( We were hoping this would happen once we got our passes but they haven't arrived yet. DH is going to have to chase them as without his car he can't get to work, he'll have to use mine and I'll have to pay bus fare until I get the pass. There's an oil leak somewhere in the engine and the timing belt needs changing asap as it's ready to break :o It passed it's MOT though :rotfl: I think DH is wanting to keep it, but I don't know what we're going to do with it, we said if it passed it's MOT we'd keep it and it has, but we weren't expecting this.

Mum and Dad will be over some time this afternoon, DH is going to visit his Mum as she's been re-admitted to hospital this week. Having a scan today to hopefully find out what is going on. I have Dr tonight so he's coming to pick me up at 4:30pm to take me home then Mum will drive me to Dr while DH goes to get the van. M&D got to Uncle's around 11:30pm last night which wasn't too bad from Cornwall :)

Can't think of much else, I would be getting excited around about now, but I don't have the energy!! :o

Hope everyone has a nice weekend :) xxx

We can have the fridge but we can't pick it up tonight, she was offering it on behalf of her daughter and she's not sure when she will be in over the weekend but we should be able to get it this weekend.

On the Roxburghe side of things, DH had hidden a letter from 3 away from me, he swears he doesn't remember hiding it in his jacket inside 'secret' pocket, but he's finally got his a*se into gear and rung them this afternoon and 3 don't have any record of him at all!! Can't find his name on the system and he's given them 3 different addresses. One of the Senior Exec's are looking into it and they will get back to him either later today or Monday, fingers crossed this situation will be sorted, and soon!! Wonder if there's any way of claiming compensation on the stress it has caused me, to make my ME go backwards :o
