At least your debt to your OH's boss is nearly cleared. £2.33 is better than nothing too. Hope you have a better week!

Well, I think I've found a solution to the logging in issues, using the AOL browser at work doesn't seem to work but using IE does  so will just have to have an extra box at bottom of the screen, wish had Windows 7 on works computer, could fit in more 'boxes' then :D hehe

    Good morning everyone

Well, had the flu jabs :) But I am now in pain :o the arm with the SF Jab is extremely painful, to touch and to use, and today woke up with a temperature :o Been taking ibuprofen for the pain but took paracetamol this morning to try and sort the temp. Thankfully DH has day off today so he brought me to work and will be picking me up tonight :)

Debt to boss should be paid now :) Gave DH the last £20 last night to give to boss today :) Yay :D Can now focus on Xmas and once that's out the way, start focusing on CC's in Jan :D Won't be able to start overpaying for the first few months but will be overpaying by a few £ on each, better than nothing though :)

The toilet seems to of magically fixed itself, after over a year of making a right racket, over the weekend it stopped  We are now trying to get used to the silence when it is flushed but it is very strange!!! :rotfl:

Had another 'chat/nag' at DH last night, I don't like to do it but at the moment I need help, I can't do all the housework like I used to, since that cold a few weeks ago I still haven't managed to get back to my normal, so when he was driving me into work he actually asked what there is to do in the house, I was so dozy I thought I was imagining things :rotfl: Asked him to get some cat litter and given him some money for it (also told him I want the change as it's from the shopping purse) he knows the bathroom needs doing as unfortunately one of the boys had diarhea (sp?) again this weekend. We're thinking it's all the upset with Mum as she's been in hospital the last 2 weeks but came out on Sunday, unfortunately she isn't much better but I'm hoping they've found something to help her this time. So I'm hoping the bathroom will atleast get done today, not really bothered about anything else at the moment  don't have the energy to be bothered :o

DH goes away again tomorrow morning and will be home early hours of Thursday, the day of my skills test at college :o hoping I can sleep that night but not holding out much hope, will be using every trick I know Wed night to get me to sleep, warm bath, my 'sleep music' and make sure I go to bed early ish as it's a college night too. I'm ahead of the majority of the class still so might ask if ok that I don't go on Wed night so I can make sure I'm up to the skills test, will see how I feel :)

Hope you've all had good weekends xxxxx

Overpaying if even by a few pounds is positive - every penny counts. You're doing really well just being on top of things, so a step at a time!

Good that OH getting the idea of helping out:D

DH hasn't been able to pay today as no-one was in the office and as it's his day off he's not hanging around till someone comes in, so will pay another day.

Also had another letter from CSA, finally!!! And with all the wrong details on! He's been on the phone to them this morning and apparantly they have lost the copies of the wageslips he sent in in June! And they still have him down as working in his last job! He also mentioned that we have them practically have them every weekend and they weren't aware of that either! Do they actually bother reading through the forms that people fill in and send back??? So now they have to verify, again, with DH's XW that we have them every weekend, probably need to send in wage slips again, and pay no attention to the letter they sent out. I'm not going to get rid of the letter though, DH has said he'll hole punch it and put it with the rest in my folder :) He's getting there ;):D Only problem I'm having now as I don't have anywhere to put all the folders :o Saw a filing cabinet on freecycle last week but went really quickly, they even said they wish they had more as they had no idea they were in such demand, bless.

Thank you for replying Jo & SH :)

It's not my Mum, its step sons Mum. Although mine did get stung by a hornet last week :o She has arthritis in her hands already and it was her hand it decided to sting, but I think it's healing now :)

Hope your ok at work SH
Thank you for the words of encouragement Jo, I don't feel like I'm on top at the moment, feel like I'm at bottom trying to fight through this dratted illness to get to top :o Really look forward to a cure being found for this blooming thing! (Or could just blame Mum for nagging at me to get the 2 jabs! :D)

    :j:T:j:T I PASSED! :T:j:T:j

Yay, I passed the exam last night, all answers correct apart from one which was half wrong but was enough to pass it :D I even completed the whole thing before anyone else :o And forgot to ask, in my excitement, if I actually need to go in next week as next weeks class is for those who didn't complete it last night, will email tutor and hope for a reply :)

Have had a peep at the 'flannel' cakes, now that I've worked out they are actually flannels made to look like cakes, :rotfl:
does that mean that nappy cakes........... nah I won't go there :rotfl:

Thank god it is friday, this week has been a very long and tiring week, and it won't stop at weekend either. DH is working Sat and XW isn't very well at the moment, so means I have the boys all day on Sat :o DH has said he's going to have a word with them to make sure they behave as I'm still very tired and sore, god damn this illness is a pain in the a*se!!!
Also asked him if we could go to the Metrocentre on Sunday to do a little christmas shopping :) I want to see if their Boots has got the pressie I want to get my Dad, a RC UFO :) He loves the RC flying objects and saw that one on the Boots website, checked in town and they didn't have any in but it is a smaller store, the website keeps saying 'stock coming soon' If they haven't got it I need to find another idea for him, I've asked him and he said to get him a Tyre Pressure checker thingy!! Silly Daddy! Like I can get him just that lol

Waiting for DH to text and let me know that debt to boss is now paid :D 2 finished before Christmas :) Had a change of mind about what to focus on next, CC's aren't going anywhere so going to focus on the overdraft first, then look at CC's, that way if anything should happen we will have some money to fall back on in the overdraft :)

Ummm run out of idea's lol
Good luck on payday SH :)
Hope your all ok and have a lovely weekend :) x

Nappy cakes are made with nappies usually with a sleepsuit or something like that wrapped round it and ribbon. Rusty flange is the queen of nappy cakes she sells them on ebay
