I'd buy OH sweeties but he's not really got a sweet tooth, probably if I bought him a big joint of red meat he'd be happy LOL - may try your approach but with that!

He doesn't have much of a sweet tooth but he likes the peanut ones and twix's, twix's we get from cash and carry so not much of a treat (considering we have a whole box at home and he's only had about 2-3) and as M&M's are a little more expensive (£1 for a 'treat' size bag!!!) I only get them as a treat :) It's the only thing I know of other than junk food (indian, chinese etc etc)

Well, it's a beautiful (not) Monday Morning and DH has yet again gone on tour :(

Had a christening yesterday to go to, DH's cousins little girl and boy, they both looked gorgeous in their little outfits, I don't really have any belief in religions but I went as I was asked, figured it was the better thing to do than to just say I wouldn't go. Went to a cricket club for the party but ended up with a killer headache so thankfully DH decided it was time to leave, came home, I had something to eat while DH took the boys down the park and ended up going to bed, sort of dozed off until the elephants came home, despite DH telling them to be quiet as I was asleep, the rest in the dark room helped and when I went downstairs they were all gone, so started on my tea, pork chop and new potatoes :D Love my pork chop :D Nom Nom I don't get them very often as I always seem to shop for DH and boys, but never remember to buy anything for me :o
Even managed to go to bed by 9.30pm  DH included  I think he might of been after something but there was no way he was getting it as I was left drained by the headache/migraine, so fell asleep holding hands instead :)

Just updated all my spreadsheet, put in the new gas amount monthly, will keep the DD going until the bill in Feb and should be able to pay it all off and cancel the DD, will then be able to manage the bills without monthly payments hopefully, taken us a year to get that one sorted :D

Still got sniffles  Mum has been telling me I need to have both seasonal and swine flu jabs, I am still unsure. Whenever I have the seasonal one it always gives me a little bit of a cold after, (a cold is better than the flu I know) but I've already had a little cold this winter and I ended up off work for a week with bronchitis and not being able to walk properly for 2-3 weeks, so I've told her if I do go for it and end up being off work I'm laying the blame with her as she's the one insisting I get it! Apparantly DH could have it too because he lives with me but he is refusing.

Given DH £50 to give to boss, only need to pay £20 this week and that one is finished!!!! :j

Apparantly Sis has some money for me from Gran, she counted all her 1ps and 2ps again and I have £3.33 coming my way :D My jar at home is also filling up nicely now, will count it again as soon as it is filled :) £2 tub is still getting there although don't seem to be getting as many £2 coins, any I get from shopping I leave in the 'shopping purse' as techinically that money is for shopping only, if I have some spare £1 coins I swap them over but it is very rare I have any money lol

Am thinking when the special rate I signed up for ends next year on the savings account for honeymoon is finished going to swap to another savings account, the rates have got so much better so will be good to swap I think :) Got £65 in there so far :)

Ummmm can't think of anything else, hope everyone is ok and had a good weekend xx

Great about debt to boss nearly finished, good work on that!

Also good on keeping on top of interest rate for savings - got any particular account in mind? I opened an ISA not too long ago with Standard Life, not used it much yet as also opened an easy-access savings account with Barclays and putting my £50 a month emergency fund into that. I think the main site has a page that's quite regularly updated and also always news in the weekly newsletter so keep an eye on that for good rates on savers.

I think it finishes in May, but will check on it later. I'll be looking to my newsletter to find out what the best one is at that time then see about changing them over. It's currently with Alliance & Leicester which during the down time in recession was offering I think 3. something interest for the first year, including a bonus of about 1%, not too worried about taking it out as it is for the honeymoon and it is the one thing I wont withdraw on unless we are seriously desperate :)

Has anyone else had any logging in problems?? Today is the 2nd day I've had to reset my password so wasn't sure if it was MSE or someone trying to hack into my account! Password is changed again now so hoping it doesn't happen again!

Signed up for a new scratchie :) Won 25p yesterday, and 10p today :) Won another 10p on usual scratchie again, love them lil fishes :)

Not much has happened, Car tax has come, £82.50 for 6 months, then hopefully in 6 months time we should be able to pay for 12 months :) on both cars :D

Booked my SF and Season Flu jabs for this Sat :o *Please don't let me catch a cold after!!!!!* They had to check the list as they have only had 500 allocated so have to do the 'at risk' patients first, questioned abut DH having one but they weren't sure at the moment. Don't know if that's a good thing that I'm on the 'at risk' list :o They asked if I was ringing because I'd got a letter  never received one so they obviously aren't keeping all their 'at risk' patients informed.

Cant wait for DH to be home!! I can't work out if it's AF(on way) or BD causing me to be overly emotional and very :o at the moment, I just want to cry every 5 minutes

I wasn't listening properly when Sis was on phone and it was actually £2.33 lol, but in bank account now :)

LL didn't manage to come round last night, he did let me know on Monday that his parents were coming over so hopefully he might be able to come over on Friday as I'm at college tonight and tomorrow so there will be no-one in the house.

I have an ISA with HSBC, set it up aaaages ago, but don't use it as I should really, I think it's one of my many 'pots'

    Hope everyone is ok xxx
