I haven't spent much time flying today as we've been out and about at Caravan places making sure we have everything we need for our holiday in July. If we buy things as and when then it doesn't all come in a big lump sum at the end! Had an amusing time looking at the M5 northbound as we drove over it. I wonder how much they're charging for parking!
Lovely OH has insisted on joining me on the healthy eating thing. He doesn't need to lose weight but wants to help me outI feel very virtuous as I just munched a carrot instead of anything naughty and was very chuffed at making my first loaf of bread yesterday in my new birthday breadmaker!

I am sooooo FAT!!!! Went to the market today, for a look around and just holding myself up walking around has my back in spasms. I REALLY need to los some weight. After half an hour sit down to recover, I have almost comleted todays list, just need to clean the floor, however my back is killing me again so I have had to sit down again before I do actual damage!
All that needs doing in there now is to sort out the stuff ontop of the dryer(not on the list hehe) and clear my butchers block thingy(also not on the list)
Floor will be done tomorrow, when DP does the living room floor!

:DI have stardrops, borax and soda crystals to use - which one is best and how is it best used please?
Will clean it tomorrow as will be too late tonight to do it
Yep. Run hot water in the bath. Sprinkle in a load of soda crystals. Stick the shelves in and leave to soak for at least an hour or longer if you fancy. the grease will literally wipe off. I still use a metal scourer as it's quicker and helps with the very odd difficult bit.
For the base. I cheated yesterday and used cilit bang. Left on over night it works a treat.
Normally I just spray the inside of the oven with a 50/50 white vinegar/water spray.Whilst the oven is still warmish, leave for 10 mins and then just wipe it over. Done each time the oven is used saves having to 'clean it' IYSWIM.0 -
Toots - nice to see you back. Hope you don't get too many nasty side effects. Remember to eat properly - and lots of protein!toottifrootti wrote: »:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I thought you meant they were playing football and you were going to ogle the legs until i read the last line!!!!
I had a good ogle at them in their uniformsMind you, one of them was really large - I was surprised he'd passed the fitness test. I guess he's a special. No trouble in the park - though BB gave the dogs a bit of a doggy talking to! But the sirens have been going off and on around and about ever since.
Only one more home match then we're trouble free until the new season starts. Mind you, as the team are touch and go relegation wise, that last home game in two weeks could be interesting trouble wise.
For those who like men in uniform and dogs - here we go - snapped this afternoon
Am now going to contemplate dinner. Haven't got a clue what to do - though I have some smoked salmon in so I might do a take on ham and leeks in cheese sauce and do it with smoked salmon and celery...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots glad you are home and one treatment done.
soappie those dogs look like my own much loved and recently departed. They use them for police dogs because they are so bright, but terrified of most things!
just realised I looked at the dogs not the men, I need to get out more! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

ooo Soappie looks like fun - make sure they don't spot you taking piccies of them - apparently it's now illegal to do so!
Glad you are back from your treatment and sounding fine Toots...
have almost finished the ironing but have been 'helping' DD put tunes on her i pod - what a faff that is...have had to ask the techies to help and have been told that it's easy ...pshaw anything's easy if you know what you are doing...being a main aisle bingo ticket seller on your own , taking in thousands and NOT being out with your money is easy IMHO well it was when I did it!
