All caught up! Had a great time last - lots of bouncing around at the gig (most exercise I've done in a while!) and my neck is paying for it today  Am sooo pleased I went - there's something fab about live music :D :j

Toots - hope all went ok today; hugs

FFP - you didn't upset me at all

hex and soappie - I'll join you and throw 10 things a day

TAG - well done on the ironing!!

I need to do a list now and make a start on the kitchen whilst dinner is cooking ..............

Nothing crossed off the list today.

Spent the afternoon outside. Cleaned all of the downstairs windows outside and the front and back door and step. Then planted a lots more seeds in the garden while the weather was lovely and sunny.

Chicken roasting in the oven for tea so unable to clean it at the moment.

I pledge to do the kitchen tomorrow and catch up so I am not one day behind.

Getting bag, clothes and lunch ready for work tomorrow.

Right off to being the clothes in off the line and tidy up in the kitchen with all the seed packets all over and wash up.

Hope everyone had a good BH weekend and all is well and good in flylady land!

I'm back from the land of the job application. hex, I've emailed you. Not 100% done but think I'm well on the way now.

Feel zonked after that but it's probably just from staring at the screen so nothing to worry about! Plan tonight is to watch last night's Lewis with a bottle of wine. Toad in the hole for dinner so i will do the kitchen whilst that's cooking. DH has just made a start by sorting all the bins and recycling out as it's bin day tomorrow.

  • Going to visit OH's friends soon to give Easter eggs to their kids.

We are the only couple in 'his' group who aren't breeding yet, and I don't see fit to change that any time soon, but it won't stop the WAGS inquiring after what they assume is my barren womb.

I usually tell them with a sweet smile that we're having too much fun to have kids, but we are practising lots, thanks for asking.

I hate this, too. My hideous boss has been asking one of my colleagues for the last 5 years whether she's planning children this year...for all he knew she couldn't, quite apart from the equal opportunities issues:eek:

oops, sorry pigpen. Have edged a one and a half borders in the garden and got to level 3 and done 3 dw and 2wm and traded logs for eggs...hurrah!

iriedaughter - what an inspiring post :T- you sound so much more rested and motivated -I hope you achieve all you want to this week and that it makes your life easier when you go back to school - have you been getting to bed at a reasonable time too?
yes rach - having done 'donating 1 a day for Lent' I found myself automatically looking for something this morning too so I will try to carry on with it - at least getting rid of something either to the bin or to my charity bag. Hope you are making progress with your application.

sexy good luck with the marathon challenge. Wow I have just seen your update well done - and i would agree i think you should just declutter all the egg and get rid of the temptation and its probably not good for Moon - he will come out in spots or something so be kind to him and you eat it instaed!!:rotfl::rotfl:
juliejim well done with DD's room -I know what my nieces room looks like and I would need danger money to do it!:rotfl:
princess jane - it is certainly none of their business! I like your reply!! You will know when the time is right or not as the case may be (hugs)

Oooh, I'm going to get a glass of wine and some popcorn and go stand at the gate. There's football this afternoon which is just about to finish. We have 22 policemen and 2 dogs in the park at the bottom of the garden :D They must be expecting trouble!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I thought you meant they were playing football and you were going to ogle the legs until i read the last line!!!!

My actual treatment- all 45 secs of it is a doddle but the preparation is a real struggle for me as I have to lay flat on a board and I couldnt breathe - they had to get the 'ok' to give me oxygen but even then we had to stop and let me sit up several times to get breath into my lungs- it is going to make this a hard job - but thats 1/13 - a real nightmare to start but hopefully we will find a way to get through it. i was trying to think of all the flyladies names to see if that would help but it didnt:o

I was awy from here at just after 2pm and back at 4.15 - there was another man in the car but he only has 5 treatments to get - thank goodness as he was stinking!!!!:eek::eek: and filthy:eek::eek:

on the flying front this morning I pottered around and did 1 or 2 wee jobs and kept up with the stars to save me when i got back - have done 1 xWM which has been out all afternoon so will be lovely and there is no ironing in it.
    toots xx

ETA Hi froddy - did you get my pm last week regarding the recycling??
    Peace will be mine

Hob and oven done now and the new load of washing is hung out on the line, but not going to do the floor until OH has finished going back and forth through the kitchen with his gardening stuff on, as he'll make it mucky as soon as it's done otherwise. Will wait until he has his shower tonight.

Off to watch neighbours now, as OH is too tired to go on the walk I suggested earlier (hence why I've edited it out of my previous post). Will just have to some on my own tomorrow when he's back at work, as I believe that the weather here is going to be ok.

Got to take my Mum to the hospital tomorrow morning, so will have to be at her house at 10am as she'll hopefully be having her stitches taken out. She's much better, and can now walk about without her crutches for short periods of a time, and doesn't need to take pain killers any more. Plus we've got to do my Nan's shopping again! I love the way I get told that I'm doing these things, not asked if I mind, even though I have to drive nearly 20 miles to my Nan's house. Never mind, at least my halo will be glowing.

Right, neighbours is on, so off I go!

See you all in a bit,

    sexymouse xx

ETA: Lovely to see you back toots - so glad that the treatment went OK, and hope that they manage to get something sorted out for you to help you breathe next time. Your comment about the egg being bad for Moon made me laugh! He did offer me a bit of his half earlier, but I was a good mouse and declined it and said it was his bit. lol
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
