Toots, we all have meibomian glands in our eyelids, a cyst is formed when you get a build up of skin and gunk ( technical stuff here) in it, and this can get infected.
I thought about posting a link to pictures of nasty cysts on eyes, but then I thought maybe it's better not to since it's bedtime:D
Off to bed myself, wishing you all a goodnight and a good start to the weekend tomorrow.0 -
Toots May I have a kitchen star please? Glad it helped to see a familiar face for your tests. I am impressed with how brave you are. I will tidy the LR, go through the pile of yr 7 books then outline half term worth of lessons for yr 7 before bed.
Tooch geoching can be highly addictive and a great way to get exercise in the fresh air, spend quality time with LOs with out the distractions of everyday life, make new friends, enjoy challenges on many levels, see lovely spots that are off the beaten path, walk the dog somewhere else and experience a sense of success for finding the treasure. Look out for event caches in your local area as you can meet up others near you that way as well. Oh and it can be free, free, free, well as cheap as you choose.
Liberty happy belated birthday glad you had a good day.
LilySue hope your eye gets better soon. The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.0 -
Evening all :hello:
Juliejim - Hugs for you & DS
I've had a productive dayThose groceries I went shopping for turned into
- a new bed with "stress free" mattress for £228, which is £60 off the price AND free delivery
:j
- A new watch strap for DD's favourite watch
- Cheap groceries & a hair colour (ready for when I need to do my roots, and £1 cheaper than Asda;))
- A second (and if necessary 3rd) washing line as I bought the tie-ing off thing to wrap the line around so I can lower and raise it.
- 2 packs of Colour catchers from Tesco using vouchers I had from getting my Gas & elec from E-on
- Avoidance of EVERY charity shop en-route therefore saving me heaps of money
:rotfl:
Told them I hadn't received my vouchers for completing the course, so the boss said I could go and collect them next week. Thats £25 worth of high street vouchers for me
Oh and thats as well as the £60 in missed credits I "found" in my back account this morning from me messing up the dates of my course
While I was in town, I decided to go and get some new fitted sheets that would fit (Asda wanted £6.50 for a double fitted one  ) so I popped to a textile shop and left with 2 fitted sheets, a flat sheet, 2 bath sheets (£2.99 each as opposed to £5+ in Asda) and 4 new cushioncovers (£1.99 each, instead of 3 for £12 complete in Asda) which co-ordinate with my livingroom curtainsWe came back via the shoe shop and got DD some more trainers in her current size (the ones she's been wearing threw themselves in the washing machine yesterday crying out for mercy :rotfl: ) and school shoes instead of boots
Then finally we took a diversion to Asda where I bought a new mattress protector (ready for next week
) and a new knife block as my knives were all pitted and I couldn't get them clean
When I got home I put the new washing line up, tied up the clematis as it was trying to grow along the floor nearly, and set too on the washing. I'm currently on load 5 and I think I still have another 5 to go (but that does include the new towels and bedding)
Now for my list as it currently stands...
Personal (including extras)
- HHR/S (thats Half hour reading/studying)
- Ebay listings
- Spend some time working on word problems with DD (She's asked for help with it so I grabbed some from Primary Resources... I love that website
)
- Shredding... I must make some headway on this.. I feel the need to set up the shredder and do 15 things at a time everytime I pass it....
This will also count as my 15 mins filing won't it?
- Try to sort out new budget now the new financial year is here (remembering £2.50 a week for afterschool club to be added to "savings" )
- Deal with vase
- Clean cutlery drawer
- HHI - As of Thursday evening still none to do
- Charity bag dance
- Ebay bag dance
- Wash soft furnishings (will have to wait until the washing itself is done, clothing/bedding is more important!)
- Wipe over all the paintwork
- S&S the kitchen!
:j:D:j:D
Terrible Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing DONE:j:D:j:D
Wednesday - bathroom, study and other grotty places!
Level One
De-grot the loo/bath/sink - After I've had my bath
Thursday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!
Level One
Vacuum/mop floors & stairs! - Half done, not vacuuming now as its too late.
Level Two
dust over all the electrical appliances
Vacuum under the furniture you can safely move!
Clean the sofas
Level Three
Degrot the under stair space/cupboard.
Dust mantle and polish any display cabinets or bookshelves etc
Funky Friday - Brats rooms, spare rooms or wherever! DONE:j:D:j
Right, going to put the flowers I bought today in the sink until I wash the vase tomorrow morning (too tired now and likely to drop it) and once I've sorted this load of washing out I'm off to bed. Night all
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - a new bed with "stress free" mattress for £228, which is £60 off the price AND free delivery
