Awwwww jo....he's lovely!!! How could you call him asbodog. Mind you, I have asbocat here. She's being very vocal at being deserted for ten days (my mum was coming in and feeding her).

Lil_me - hope you had a good holiday. Isn't the washing a pain!!! I was wondering why you were going to let Lady Liberty know that you'd organised the tree surgeon until I realised LL was land lord!!! I'm very dopey today!!!

Lady liberty - massive hugs to you xx

I had a lovely day today meeting up with a friend and her children. We only meet up once every school holiday as the children are at different schools but she's one of those people that is no effort. We put the world to rights but ended up crying laughing when we found ourselves getting excited about gas / electric bills. How things change!!!! The children thought we'd gone mad!

I'm going to do a quick s/s on the clinic as i'm working tomorrow. The floor in there needs urgent help!

I'm up early in the morning to take my dad to hospital. Thanks to everyone for their best wishes for him - I really appreciate it. Hopefully i'll be posting tomorrow to say it's all gone really well.

Hugs to all and night all xx

Ahhh She has a friend coming over later hurrah now sorting and tidying it herself. Its amazing what the thought of being embarrassed by your friend will do:rolleyes::rolleyes::rotfl:

Thinking about you Toots hope that all goes well today and that you are getting enough rest.
does not compute...does not compute ...non-programmable instruction :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: yes and no but I will make up for it at the weekend!!!! thanks :A
SSL hope you got on ok at the Doc -and well done to DD - they need a little reminder now and then!!:T:rotfl:

LadyL - Ah but is it your recovery or is it that you are a year older :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:--- oops sorry couldnt resist that!!! I am glad you had a lovely day - take it easy - and thats an order!!!!!

mozzy you should doze your self up and have an early night so that you might feel a bit better tomorrow - when the viewing is past go to bed - let Dh deal with things for a change. (((hugs)))
Triker - its amazing what you can get rid of at a car boot - go for it and it could go towards the new chooks!!!:confused:

grateful - hope the shingles are bearable - plenty rest remember.

WTG soappie and TAG - well done for doing the challenge - I have not managed it by tonight but will [STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] definately have done it by Sunday.

Thats 5/13 treatments done - only 8 to do!!!! NO problems - had to see what they call a support team nurse and it was someone who used to look after me on the wards - I didnt know she had changed roles so it was nice - she checked everything was going ok - which at this stage it should be and then she weighed me:eek::eek::eek: and took blood to check a couple of things. I am glad you were all well behaved today apart from spilling the water from the water fountain:rolleyes::rolleyes::rotfl:

Kitchen update!!!! Painter was filling and plastering bits in the morning- joiner arrived just after lunchtime and it has been decided to lower the ceiling rather than try to correct the problems and they will put on a new door -they wont be here until friday so i will have a wee break - then the electrician arrived after them - he sorted the bathroom light which wasnt working - no wonder - the wires in the switch had conm out:rolleyes::rolleyes: not very good workmanship by the previous electrician!!! And since the ceiling is being lowered he is going to put better lighting in the kitchen for me next friday too!!!
When I left for the hosp the painter was putting a coat of emulsion on the walls to see how they were going to be and to bring out any defects - well I have come home to a kitchen that is 1000000000 times better than it has ever been and its not really started !!!!:rotfl:
will really need to ebay a good bit this weekend as the joinery work is a bit more than I exopected and it will clean me out.

    the only flying today-
    S&S the bathroom
    1 xWM
wheelie bin out emptied and brought back
    some shredding
    emails, pms and phonecalls
    asda for shopping

oh and I got the refund of line rental from BT that I have been waiting on since.....october I think! Another number off my list though!!

I see we havent had our baby details yet or heard from Hex???

Thank you :A I am sooooooo relieved. Huge hugs and prayers that everything goes as smoothly for your dad tomorrow.

Toots - thank you too :A And I'm really pleased things are going well both at home and at the hospital.

OT but wondered if anyone can help. I'm trying to do the comparison site thing for car insurance - I am being honest and putting in that I had to make a claim a few years ago (my fault :o) but then it asks how much the claim was worth for both parties. I have no idea how much the claim was for the other person - what should I do ? It won't let me leave it blank!

    Rough estimate? Same as yours?
Has the accident made a big difference to your premiums over the last couple of years?
After two or three years it shouldn't really affect how much you pay.

I tend to use a comparison site find the cheapest quote and then get my insurer to match or beat it. A year ago they beat it by £25 more than I expected.;)
I do it this way cos I CBA with all the faffing around with proof of NCD for a new insurer.

Sorrt Toots, I am about just no flying to report other than putting up some new curtains in the boys BR earlier.

Thanks for all the good wishes everyone, I think it went well but I won't know for a couple of weeks if there is funding available or not. More hours than I want to do so a lot to think about.

Been for a jog (how about you Sunnygirl?), just need to get the DW done before I slope off for a bath and bed.
