Hex - glad it went ok. Just noticed your signature...that's brilliant! Well done!!!

Relevant flying bit....erm...put the two books next to me in a pile....not a big pile but a tidy pile non the less!

Having a mild panic as the new mortgage has gone through but my online banking on the old offset account is showing as 89 thousand pounds overdrawn as it's now a normal current account. Apparently it won't update until midnight. I really hope i'm not going to stay up and check it then! I've never been that overdrawn...unless my hubby has spent all the money on his luxury shed extension?!?!:rotfl:xx

Trip to McDonads went well, I was very good and only had a salad and a bag of carrot sticks. Kids all well behaved and had time for a play when we got home before Daddy got back. All in bed by 720 tonight :T:T
Have stuck to my WW points all day and been to the gym so feling chuffed with that.
Got our day out to The Gadget Show Live at the NEC tomorrow. My friend (and asbobaby's godmother) is having all 3 kids for the day :A:A Its the first time hubs and I have had more than about 30 minutes together in the day with no kids in 3 YEARS :j:j:j To have the whole day just us 2 together will be amazing :D
We are dropping kids off at 830am and heading straight up to the NEC.
I am going to be ultra good and take fruit and carrots, celery etc with me so I am not tempted to stuff myself with burgers and chips or whatever else rubbish is available.

    Part of the Furniture
    evening.

Thankfully i am feeling loads better this evening and have even managed to eat something. So that has got to help.

I am just starting to get some motivation with planning some lessons for next week. 1 of 7 just about done but i am finding it so hard after my time off on mat leave to pitch it to a class i don't know and have only met once. I know they have given me all quite low ability classes, and 2 of them have virtually every kid in the class with a statement. I have till wednesday anyway as Monday is a training day, so hopefully i will be able to get some ideas off my work colleagues then. It's a bit scary.

We have a to do list that is as long as my arm and only tomorrow really to crack on as DH is working on Sunday. Sam's 1st birthday is just over 2 weeks away, so we need to sort out planning that and get some more of the house looking presentable for when people come round for that, also ILs will be stopping over for a few days then.

to say i have felt so ill today i managed about an hour of ironing while catching up with the apprentice on iplayer, put the clothes away, did 2 washloads, emptied airers and put those clothes away, and also managed to put the kids 3 whole outfits together for their days at nursery next week. Their bag was repacked today when they came in, and so something at least is ready for next week.

julie jim sorry to hear about DS. Lucky you noticed something was amiss, hope they get it sorted soon for you.

i can't remember much else as there is so much going on round here.

I also need to work out whether to complain at nursery or not. When we picked the kids up today they had Sam outside in a buggy with no trousers on. He had a coat on but no blanket or anything, and it was pretty nippy bless him. we couldn't work out why he didn't have any on either as the ones he had been wearing weren't wet or even particularly dirty, and he had a spare pair in his bag anyway. I don't think i am being too overprotective, but i don't want him getting another cold through neglect. It's too cold now to go out like that.

Anyway, back to the lessons. I want one at least completed today. I'm hoping that someone will also give me their lesson plans to look at for the other stuff. I just don't know where to start and they did say they would email it to me over the hols but it looks like they forgot.

    Back to it

    Hi everyone!
I'm home, have unpacked (which I never do until I have to normally), sorted the washing to do in the morning, done a gym and swim session, and done my french grammar homework.
Haven't managed to catch up with the 40 pages of the thread, I don't think I'll manage it by Sunday so I'll just say hugs to everyone, and lots of love to Toots especially!!
    Tomorrow I have to:
    Write at least one essay
    Do 1 load of washing
Buy lunch things for the week
    Email tutor for Referat topic
    S&S kitchen and bathroom
    And probably much more
Lots of love to everyone xxxxx

    Evening all,

    Hi all,
have been about and keeping up with the thread, but not posting as I have wanted to get on...
I have been very good today, have done my bedroom completly and have just put the clean sheets on (cant wait to have a bath and get in it, it looks sooooo tempting and lovely...;)) Just me in tonight too, as hubby didn't come home tonight as he was too tired to get up at 4.30am and drive back in the morning - don't blame him, 2 1/2 hour drive before you even start work kills... and DS is staying over the road at a friends... He has started sorting out the carp in his bedroom - I emptied his wardrobe today and sorted all his clothes out and my own, then once I had hung everything up, folded up neatly what needed to go in there and took everything else out that shouldn't have been there, I locked it up again so he couldn't put more toot back in...;) evil eh! :rotfl:
House is still a pit - the only other clean room is the kitchen which I have been S&Sing, but that's about it... going to go through bit by bit tomorrow and sunday - getting there though...

Have also decluttered quite a bit more:
    10 things to ebay yesterday
1 single quilt to dog kennels
3 pillows to rubbish (no good to anyone)
1 suit to mum's neighbours boy
27 tops/trousers to charity shop (mine and DS's)
101 billion bits of rubbish out of DS's room (ok, slight exaggeration there )
So I have done nearly 50 things this week, which is good (not counting the billions from DS...) and there will be more this weekend, so am quite pleased.
