Valli - if your's is a much better make and in good condition the £15 sounds fine - do you know how much your's was new? I usually go half original price or if it is like new then start at 2/3 price.

Played a game with DS3 and found another one to add to my ebay/NCT pile.

Do you put it on neat or diluted?

Oh definitely diluted! - very diluted!

About 2 tsp tto in 2 cups (16 fl oz) of water - put it in a spray-bottle and shake.

2 tsp is about 10 ml - the contents of a very small bottle, little more than an inch high - costs a couple of pounds. Cheaper in larger quantities (you can get 50 ml for about £3.60).

i don't seem to be getting very far today. I seem to keep wandering around thinking do we need that and if not putting in a bag for a freecycle pick up today. What I should be doing is tidying up and cleaning
We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

    Hello, I'm here just about!

Am really really tired today, and have a friend coming round at 2 so have spent the morning trying to tidy up very slowly! I've done some washing up and flinging in the kitchen, and have decluttered the LR floor AGAIN! Did this yesterday ready to hooover and overnight it's got messy again!

Am going to hoover now, and then have a bath and then she will be here! It sounds awful, but I'm hoping she won't stay too long so I can have a nap! I'm looking forward to seeing her though.

DH hasn't gone to work which hasn't helped. He woke up with neck ache and is refusing to work as it's raining. He's going out shopping in a mo, which is scaring me, but he's taking some vouchers to buy new shoes (which he really does need) and hopefully he won't spend too much!

I'm so frustrated with him about our credit cards. I've been shaving off pennies here and there and working really hard to pay off the cc with the biggest interest on it, and he's spent the whole lot that I've managed to pay off this month! I've only paid off 56p of the total debt. I've asked him this morning how he feels about cutting the card up, and he's said yes in a voice that said I don't really want to and I'll say yes to keep the peace and hope you forget about it. I'm not forgetting about it! I'm really worried about our money situation, and have no idea how to get the £800-900 it's going to cost to insure his work truck. He knows the bill is coming up too, but doesn't worry about things. The words "shopping" "I'm going to buy" and "let's get" are making me seriously panic.

Sorry to rant and rave, I will go and get on with hoovering now. See you all later!

To give him some praise tho, he's just put all the cardboard that is strewn all over the place into a bag so it's tidy!

Jill, what you and your hubby have achieved is so amazing! You both sound incredibly hard working. Well done!

Jjef, do you think your toe might be broken or bruised?

Tag, I’m about to start R is for Ricochet. I’m just reading them at random, I’m sure it would be better if I read them in order like you!

Soappie, glad you’ve got the community problems into perspective. Hugs for you

Jill, what a good plan you’ve got!

Sarah, what Pigpen said about your DD’s clothes was spot on. All shops have their sizes different to other shops, in other words M&S size 16 would be a 14 somewhere else or an 18 somewhere else. The size doesn’t matter, what matters is that the clothes fit and make you look lovely!

Julie, sorry sieve brain, why is DS seeing a consultant? Hope it goes well

And sorry Hex, sieve brain again, what is happening this afternoon? Hope it goes well

Mozzy, really huge hugs, hope you are soon on the mend. Remember to drink lots and lots

Rach, have a nice weekend away

Thanks BlueberryPie, I've copied your instructions over to a flylady document I've made in Word! I've got a good collection of tips and recipes over there now!

Put your notes in something like Evernote instead - way less bother, works with your browser, hides in your system tray and is organisable, taggable and searchable. Free version is fine - no registration needed.

Or Soup or Tumblr if you prefer something web-based.
