I should explain that my ironing pile might be jeans and a shirt in the morning. But that comes from my non ironing pile.... Which is a different matter :rotfl:

I have known people that ironed knickers! Blimey - there's more to life...

My mum used to iron her tea towels! :rotfl:

When we were little our mother used to give us tea towels, hankies and pillow cases to iron on - oh what fun!

  • This has answered a question for me now, 3 years later:

    http://www.kch42.dial.pipex.com/Avebury.htm

The train I was on took an alternate route from Paddington back to Torquay, and I saw the monument raised above the land. I did ask someone at the time who lived locally (they should have known for example) but were unable to tell me what it was I saw. I remember(ed) it also because 2 foxes were in a field close to the rail line, either end and I've only ever seen a fox by itself before never two at once like that.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Actually someone offered me a job recently, a few quid a week for doing their ironing. I told them I'd rather starve :rotfl::rotfl:

ironing! whats that? does it have anything to do with that weird contraption that lurks in the cupboard and the nasty burny thing in the back of another cupboard?

I'm reading on here to put off ironing my son's uniform. He's back to school tomorrow and has mock SATs - despite them being cancelled in most schools!

There is a separate thread you need to post on, called Bankruptcy and Supporters Club. Fermi will then issue you a number
