Just keep saying over in my head, sod him, he doesn't deserve me ;)
No. And for him to have a go at you for that debt is well out of order. Both morally and legally, it is his now.

Good to see you posting with a bit more 'spring in your step' today.

4 foot ironing pile? Wow, the mind boggles... Being a single bloke, mine is never bigger than a pair of jeans and polo shirt for work that day, and I sneak those in before I am fully awake so I don't notice.

I'm a fool to myself when it comes to ironing, if I kept up with it, it would only take half hour every other day, but I always put it off, just ironing the odd thing until it gets way out of control.. I know when I need to tackle it when eldest son who is 18 starts saying he has nothing to wear, considering he owns at least 50 tops, that's bad! :rotfl:

My ironing's not so much of a pile more a mountain to rival Everest! I'm lucky my uniform doesn't need ironing so at least I've got that to wear during the week! :rotfl:

Nothing wrong with an 18 year old ironing his own shirts - did I just say that??? I'm guilty too I still ironing my kids clothes and they are 18 and soon to be 17 . Mental note: I must prepare my kids for the outside world! OH irons his own clothes though. He made the dire mistake of criticising my ironing 23 years ago.

    :j :j

  • Actually someone offered me a job recently, a few quid a week for doing their ironing. I told them I'd rather starve :rotfl::rotfl:

My 18 year old has only just learned how to make toast :rotfl:

I am very guilty of making a rod for my own back, but hey I brought them into this world and I will look after them until I leave it, cos I'm damm sure they won't be leaving home before then! :rotfl::rotfl:

I should explain that my ironing pile might be jeans and a shirt in the morning. But that comes from my non ironing pile.... Which is a different matter :rotfl:

I have known people that ironed knickers! Blimey - there's more to life...

I hope your jeans and shirt at least come from the clean clothes pile!
