Hi all, come in for some tea and sympathy.

Had a car accident this morning - head on smash, me on the correct side of road and other driver overtaking parked car. I ended up going to hospital to be checked out and my back and neck are really sore and stiff - which is to be expected. Went back to have a look at my poor little car and its not driveable - front bumper has dropped and is rubbing on the drivers side wheel. Bonnets all buckled as well. Insurance are sorting it but means my poor little car, that got through the OR, is unlikely to get through the insurance claim due to its low value. Boo Hoo

By the way, do I need to let the OR know?

Hope the shock has worn off a bit. As others have said, look on the car as a bit of metal that is insured and can be replaced, you're the important thing.
  • pretend beer please. im working tomorrow :(

As far as i know it is still a college, but the course is higher education, he has already done two years there, and is due back in just over a week, my OH is much the same, she is not sure whether to laugh or cry, must be a male, female thing, all i want is for him to show me he can stand on his own two feet:confused:

That sounds awfull, but hope you understand what i mean

yes i do understand what you mean , its called tough love my friends have a daughter and they wrap her in cotton wool but they wont always be there so its good for them to learn the hard way

although i love her to bits its time for her to get on with it , we both know its time and in a funny way iam looking forward to getting some off my life back and space ( that may sound selfish )
we have to see that they can do it for our own peace off mind
