Thanks Iquit, not doing too badly I suppose considering the state of my poor little car. The front bar that provides the strength to the vehicle has been bent back by a good two inches or more so I was very lucky not to come out of it worse. I've got some lovely bruising coming out on the front of my shoulder from the seat belt and am struggling to do some things with my right arm/hand (bit of a pain when you're right handed) - haven't dared try even washing my hair. I've decided to go to the doctors today to get checked out - not that I expect them to be able to do much other than sympathy and maybe pain killers.
Good news I did have today though. The council are currently doing up the outside of my house as part of planned works but as a consequence they would have had to replace all the old gas fired wall heaters. They've decided to fit central heating instead (which I requested but didn't expect for many months) so just signed the paperwork for that. My rent will go up a bit but hopefully in the long term my bills will come down slightly to compensate.
