Children's accounts, and also the details for child benefit, tax credits, and child support agency payments, (in or out).

Fantastic idea, can't wait for it to be completed and get mine filled in. :T
Trying to tidy and clean while the kids are still growing, is like trying to clear snow even though it's still snowing

Don't know how this could be done without it being a security risk but how about login names / passwords for interenet accounts?

One of the above has reminded me that local MP number would be a great step too!

Wow this is gonna be a BIG project!

As well as those contact details, list renewal dates for insurance policies or other things that are easily forgotten - annual travel insurance, car MOT etc.

The details don't only need collating for a partner but also on moving house, which means you can spend the last month or two beforehand adding club memberships or magazine subscriptions etc.

List of forums to inform in case of death (sounds silly but think about the 'big' posters here and if one of them stoped posting with out notice, people would wonder what was wrong)

    Family allergies

Illness in family (such as stroke/high blood pressure/heart problems/eye problems etc)

Although they aren't financial I would like to see phone numbers included such as:
    Doctor
    Optician
    Dentist
    Library
    Hairdresser
    Child's school
    etc.

I remember user islandman mentioning this very thing when setting up telephone accounts online as his wife would be unable to access them should she have to.

So I would say this has to be included somewhere especially if only one person accesses the internet they would need help from someone.

My Dad had a list in the top drawer of his desk such as this and on his sudden death all we had to do was read his list and all the information needed was there.

Funeral wishes and location of burial plot, should there be one.

I've created a "if I get run over by a bus" file for dh as he doesn't do any admin... It has different tabs - important numbers, telephone/reference/account for our banks/insurances/plumbers/whoever. I've also got contact details for friends/family/neighbours. Other tabs have financial debts standard menus (including where the recipe is - which cookbook & pg) And a page that has "other stuff" like where the spare keys are, where the wills are etc.

When we moved house it was easy to run down the list - ringing people and having everything in one place - I just photocopied it and wrote when I rang etc.

Makes life so much easier - and it is one of the things I'd grab as I evacuated!
