    I've been Money Tipped!
Yes I want that. I want a brand new car that no one has soiled by dropping buns in the footwell, excreting their fluids over the seats, or thrashed like a ginger stepchild in second gear on the sliproad at Junction 11 onto the M25.

I want a shiny new NISSAN QASHQAI with leather seats and climate control and quirky looks that are not commonly found pre-reg or with significant discounts up to 1 year old.

    Ask Brodders, he knows!

My dad just got one (with a terrible p/ex deal). Its quite nice :) his car was ten years old.

Well let's see what happens to car prices in the next few months....and more importantly, peoples ability to drive down the price.

You can easily get cars already with a 2k discount via the internet, and they are brand new....and you'd still have the part exchange which you could whack on ebay.

BUT, only certain people will go down this route, a lot of people will only go to certain sources, such as dealers with a shiny showroom.
  • Well they've done it albeit under pressure. Can't say I think it will work though.

And a fair few like me will just let it pass them by......
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Until you realise that the funding for it is coming from your taxes...

I meant using my 17 year old car and getting a brand new one with the oh so wonderful 2k rebate.

Can't afford to do it so it will pass me by.

I want to know if this will apply to not only new cars but cars up to a year old to get the discount?

Only new I think. Though hopefully proper details will come out soon.

Did other countries do "up to a year old"? If so, it's possible that this one might. But they only said new cars.
