There seems to be such a huge reduction in the number of valid Tesco codes and having been told that this is because they are cutting down on their use this site has been set up:

and will be fowarded to Tesco shortly. It may not change anything but perhaps they'll listen to the large volume of customers shopping elsewhere.

Admin: Appologies if this isn't allowed.

Come on everyone. All registered users have a duty to put your opinion to Mr. T on this one.

Lets all vote with our feet and not order online until the policy has been reversed. Keep R&Ring though.

    Labradoodle11, thanks for replying,
are you saying they are showing up on your online account. Should I wait until the Nov mailing or phone up aswell. Strange how these codes are now customer specific and yet having problems with being applied. No codes would work for my partner & only the 3 I got sent would work for myself.

This week I used the 500 clubcard points ecoupon on my shopping and again my receipt didn't show the points. So I rang CS and was told that they could see that I used the coupon but the points would not be added until November. I told her that my 300 points had already been added and were showing on my account and she said that this shouldn't have been done. I will forget by November to check for these 500 points.

Labradoodle11, thanks in replying. I have sent an email to Tesco today concerning my points. I also wrote, I will be shopping at Asda until the matter is resolved and I see my points in my account. Asda has the incentive of low prices & rollbacks but inconvenient for me to get there. I have given Tesco online shopping another chance after being sent these codes, but have still been let down with inapropriate substitutes no points and the inconvenience of chasing them up. The end.

I have kept all evidence of the letter sent offering the codes and email confirmations showing the points and order.
I will NOT be using any codes from here that have been given in private mailings, as if you can't even get genuine codes accepted at FINALISATION, then people are really going to struggle to fight their cases.
I have appreciated all the codes that have been sent previously and benefited, but at this time we don't know what the Tesco system is, so we should all be careful in spending money that perhaps we wouldn't have done for the sake of point incentives that will not be honoured. November is a long wait. I for one would be gutted when I get my November mailing after doing 12 online shops, at least £1,000, expecting my bonuses, but having 500 points. 'Sorry no codes were valid'
I want to see my points on my account now, not November!!

If anyone has had these sum codes that were genuinly sent to them added to their online account already please share with us and any difficult experiences anyone has faced. As at the moment it seems me and Labradoodle are the only genuine receipetants of the codes having trouble.
I will not sleep until I have these points.
    With Thanks.
  • I also received the mailing in July with the 3 codes for 200, 300 and 500 points. I made an order using the 300 points code and at the time it showed up as working, however when my shopping came the code was not detailed on my receipt. I phoned customer service and was told that she could see that I had used the code but it may not show in my account until my November statement and that I should keep all of my paperwork relating to the promotion just in case!! I for one am now feeling a bit dubious about using the 500 points one now just in case the same thing happens because I have only just had the 2100 points added to my account which they owed me from last beeding November!! It seems to me that the points system is a complete shambles at the moment and predict that come November I'm going to be battling it out with them again regarding my genuinely missing points!!

I too received genuine mailing, but had no points added to my account. Emailed Tesco Thursday but still awaiting a reply, will let you know the outcome.
  • Cheers swood75729,

I for one will be very interested in their response as it seems that we are all being told a different story depending which person we speak to. I whole-heartedly agree with KRONEN in that if I am spending my money NOW, I want to see my points NOW and really don't feel that I am being unreasonable in this respect. I am hanging off till I recieve my Aug clubcard vouchers till I use my 500 points voucher....................so hopefully any day now, but if it doesn't show up on the delivery note I will again of course ring them up to query it. Will keep you all informed of how I get on also.

Recived this email from Tesco's: I can confirm that the vouchers have been accepted on both orders and will be added to the account in due course.

Not too worried as I have all the proof. Dosen't help in the mean time though as I am tempted to use a couple of codes on the other thread which are being accepted on my order but may not get validated and I will have no proof that I could use them.
Maybe someone that used the sum code that was not sent it could send Tesco's an email to see if it was accepted.
I had no online codes in mine or my partners August statment, just instore coupons.
I guess it really is coming to an end.

I have just been invited to complete an anonymous survey for Tesco.com so included the following when asked for any other comments

The reason I have used Tesco home shopping over my preferred supermarket, Waitrose, was that I often used extra points codes which I had got from magazines etc and in this way I saved towards my holiday on every shop. This was the added bonus which made me stay with Tesco, as there now seems to be fewer extra points offers I no longer have the incentive to remain with Tescos and will probably start using Ocado regularly.

Pretty true really I always end up supplementing my Tesco shop with regular trips to Waitrose anyway so I may as well swop to their home shopping.
Might be worth one more home delivery as 750 points extra on any order over 75 quid in september.
  • Have I read this right - 40.00 to spend in MFI for every 10.00 tesco voucher ? I have 82.00 worth of vouchers which I was saving for xmas shop but it thats right that means I would get nearly 350.00 worth of goods in MFI - NEW KITCHEN CUPBOARD DOORS !! or 82.00 worth of food !!! - whats the catch ???

no catch, great isn't it. if you go to clubcard deals you can spend them in other ways too. I'm saving mine for florida at the mo. the holdiday will be around £2500 with virgin. I've got about £150 in vouchers which works out at £600 off the holdiday. I can probably do another 10000 cc points this quarter, so in the next 12 months if i keep going its free!!
