On the checking out page there's a box into which you type voucher codes.

I've not had a problem with checking out with codes, are you sure you've not used them already?
My problem lately has been codes going through at checkout and being declined on the delivery note. The first time it was because bogoffs and substitutions brought it below the minimum spend, the next two were wine deliveries. I waited for the promised e-mail to explain why it was turned down and "how to use the code on another order" but it never came.
I've found that you get on much better if you ring them up and I've managed to get all these codes through. I had to argue my case with the groceries but with the wine they said it was a glitch in the system that they didn't go through!
I've heard that wine points often don't go through and to be honest its putting me off wine orders. Its embarassing to have to go chasing them and I keep waiting for someone to comment on how many codes are on my record!0 -
If I find a code for say 5000 or 10000 points for an order over £50 grocery order will I be assured I will get these in the May statement? As I've heard lots of scare stories about people struggling to get them and having to wait trill next statement againThanx

I need help. I started useing Toesco home del. about a year ago using the codes from here for £10 off etc. After a while they didn't deduct the £10 and when I phoned to query this they said I wasn't signed up to receive on-line vouchers (even though they had been excepting them for several months). Therefore I signed up for them. When I got my October statement, instead of giving me vouchers that I could use for club deals they broke the amount down into £5 's and each one had a code. When I queried this they said I could only use this money for groceries. So that I could use this money for club deals I changed back as not requiring on-line vouchers. Now they won't accept codes on line. Does anyone understand this. Obviously I want to use on-line codes for discounts and free points etc. but I also want to use my points for club card deals as there are worth much more. Advice please.0

I placed an on-line wine order late in 2005 and was verbally advised that the codes would be added two days prior to the January cut-off point. Then in mid January I ordered more wine, and knew I was in good time for the January cut-off. However, none of the points from either of the two orders were added, and believe me this amounted to quite a tidy little total in vouchers. I kept checking my points total on-line, but the wine points were not being added.
Upshot - since November of last year I have struggled to get these points added. I have sent approximately 30 e-mails, phoned several times (and was made to feel that I was being cross-examined!!!), and been told so many things that turned out to be untrue you just wouldn't believe!
(EDIT: The last ten or so e-mails I sent over the past three weeks were just not being answered, either by the automated response or from anyone at Tesco.)
I decided to take the bull by the horns, got through to someone who was prepared to listen, and had a very good natured moan about what I thought about Tesco's inability to handle the points system and their staff's excuses.
I was not only rewarded with my full total of points within 24 hours of phoning but received extra points because I said I wanted compensating for all the months of agravation.
So, keep moaning until they do something about it. It is just not good enough for Tesco to accept the points codes on orders, thus making you think they have added the points, and then not adding them and having the customer struggle to get them.
If they are going to hand out these codes then they should honour them!0 -
If they dont add them should I still accept the order or should I refuse the order in full? I could ring clubcard whilst the driver is here to check. If I had to refuse the whole order I just don't want them to refuse my orders in future though
I always try to get a money off code but we are just struggling a bit to get enough points to cover my daughters rac which is why I'm going for this as she needs it for May statement.Thanx
